This was the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Nicaragua. It has a rating of 3.5 stars overall, but I would say it is better for the setting. It has a pool, and breakfast included. Near the main "gringo" attractions, but easy...More
A lovely little hotel, in a traditional courtyard layout with a small pool, and antique-y furniture and decorations. The rooms are small, but tastefully decorated; shower and hot water a bit iffy in terms of water strength and heat! The hotel staff is extremely friendly...More

When we stayed at the Patio del Malinche they did not serve a breakfast buffet, but instead offered choice between different options, e.g. yogurt with granola and fruits or a great (giant!) fruit platter. We really liked it! Good quality of ingredients, adequate dish sizes and an excellent coffee. I am not sure if they may adapt in accordance with number of guests (we were very few back then), but I can say that we didn't miss a breakfast buffet. :)
