Seriously... I can't believe we got this place as cheap as we did! My husband and I felt this place was worth much more! We hope they keep their prices low so that we can return with our family next year! It's about a 10-15min walk from the downtown city of Granada where all the tourist like to be. It...

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night while visiting Granada. The rooms were a bit dated, but made up for by the great location, fun feel and amazing staff. They were incredibly helpful in arranging a volcano tour as well as helping sort out transport of our rental car over to ometepe. Unfortunately we had to leave early in...

Friendly staff and good location. Seems like it's been updated since I visited Feburary 2016, which is probably really nice. There were bicycles to borrow, free breakfast and hotel is facing Lake Nicaragua, which was nice. There's no real beach. It was sad to see many stray horses that looked like they were starving wandering on the shores of the...

I can't speak for all of the rooms but our triple deluxe room was recently renovated and was very clean. The bathroom has a beautiful shower with hot water. The wifi worked great. We were served a huge continental breakfast including juice, coffee, eggs, rice and beans and fruit (banana, pineapple and watermelon) The owner was very hospitable and the...

We reserved here for 2 nights thinking we would get a hotel in Masaya for the remaining 2 nights of our trip. But El Maltese is so nice, we decided to stay here for the remainder of our time in Nicaragua. Very quick to respond to questions I had before arriving. Very welcoming when we got here. The owner and...

Nice hotel, small rooms but enough for what we needed, they offer breakfast and you can even use the bikes, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the malecon area not in the calzada, but at walking distance.

It's a good solution to stay in Granada. It's located in front of the lake and 10 by walk to the center of the town Service is fine, same for the breakfast. They serve the standard breakfast here : huevo, gaio pinto.... Service is slow but nothing different from the local standard. The rooms are basic but acceptable: air conditioned...

I stayed four days in April. Staff is professional, friendly and English speaking. New owner bought in 2015 and slowly renovating and expanding service. The hotel is across the street from the lake. That actually means that it is almost a mile to most Granada restaurants and bars. There are one or two local places open only on the weekend....
