We had a relaxing, peaceful visit at this delightful, historic farmhouse! The innkeeper was a fascinating person with a wealth of knowledge about the history of the home and surrounding area. The breakfasts were appealing and delicious. We especially enjoyed the library overlooking a lovely meadow as well as the lovely suite with a claw foot tub and breathtaking views...

This is a beautifully secluded location with a grand view of the mountains near Endless Caverns. The inn itself has a log cabin section dating from 1801 and a later 1800's addition that has huge character. Innkeeper Paul is a wonderfully multi-faceted person, so make sure and discuss his background and see his library. Quite a treat. The grounds are...

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Rosendale Inn. We stayed in the Joseph Salyards Cottage, which was cute and comfortable. It had a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, and stove. We brought some wine and snacks so the mini fridge was perfect. Breakfast both days was lovely, and Paul is a top contender for the most...

This was a return visit for us, having stayed in the main building our first time ... This trip we rented the small cottage below the main building. Rich with history, and carefully being restored, it is wonderful to see the attention to which this location & it's history is being preserved. A small 'museum' like room offers some history,...

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Rosendale Inn and enjoyed it so much we plan to return. Paul is a fantastic and caring host and a very interesting conversationalist. The Andrew Jackson room was spacious, unique, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was delicious although the addition of tea to the menu would be welcome for non-coffee drinkers. The...

Yes, that's right . My service was at high level. I have been there third time and it was in July, 2016. I lived in the Woodrow Wilson room. I like this historic place and to walk there where i feel a really nice fresh air and calm everywhere. But especially I want to thank my lovely friend Paul, who...

Gorgeous rural B&B well worth the visit when you're looking to wind down and relax. I spent 30 minutes sitting on a hillside watching a herd of cows and it totally relaxed me - New Yorkers don't get to kick back like this very often! Very hospitable, historic and comfortable place to stay.

We stayed overnight in June 2016 en route to Boston. We booked the Cottage. Paul was an interesting, charming, and accommodating host. The house, especially the Cottage, was perfect for a restful stopover. We'll be making Rosendale a routine stop in the future. - K. Hall

My wife and I stayed for two nights recently while taking an extended weekend in Virginia. We enjoyed our stay and the host Paul and his mother were friendly and helpful Property was generally in good condition, but as with any old property there are things that need updating or a new coat of paint. It's an historic property, but...

The Rosendale Inn is a quaint colonial inn surrounded by 20+ acres of rolling hills and views of the Blue Ridge mountains, a truly beautiful and rustic setting. My friends and I were greeted each morning to a wonderful and delicious breakfast and interesting conversation with the owner, Paul Murphy. Rooms were clean and decorated with colonial period furniture.
