We stopped here for 1 night on a cycling tour of the Battle of Normandy area. The site itself is level with good sized, numbered pitches. The washrooms etc were spotless and the lady at reception friendly and helpful. Great value at EU12 for two people (no car). The lovely ville of Arromanches is a genuine 4 minute walk away....

We stayed here for just over a week in August. The location is great, only 5 minutes from the beach and main street, with a supermarket 2 minutes' walk away. Arromanches is very central for visiting all the D-Day sites, being on Gold Beach and is a very interesting and atmospheric place. The site is basic, but you get what...

Eleven of us planned to visit this region to join in the commemorations of the 100 year and 70 year anniversary of WW1/WW2. We were all riding our own motorcycles and we booked this campsite well in advance. Our communication with them was clear and our records show that they understood and confirmed our requirements. Unfortunately when we arrived, there...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were generally pretty happy. The lady in reception was very helpful and went out of her way to find us a vet to worm our dogs, which was one thing we could tick off our list. The pitches were a bit smaller than we've been used to but quite adequate, but it seemed...

A well set out campsite offering good sized pitches, neatly laid out and separated with low hedges, plenty of electrical hook up points and well lit. The site itself is only a short walk to the main town and there is a small supermarket just along the road that provides most things. There is also a bakery van that comes...

Toilet and showers were clean and had hot water. Spots were sheltered and clean. The guy at the front desk was quite arrogant and uninterested in helping but other than that everything was fine. Good location only a 3-5 minute walking into the main town

Stayed for one night, we were warmly welcomed and was given a really nice pitch cordoned of with short hedges. The ablutions were very clean and modern. The site clean and well cared for. This is the perfect site for a base to visit all the places on the Normandy Coast. I will be returning and staying here next time

I stayed here in sept 2012 with my partner and his parents, (they had the camper van and we stayed in the awning tent) the whole site and its toilets were always very clean, each pitch is a very good size, we visited every museum and each little town around it and is perfectly situated for a short drive to...

I wished we hadn't booked for in for two nights, in fact one was too much! The noise from the road was horrendous and I'm not exaggerating here! I barely slept, tractors all through the night, scooters, big motorbikes and cars all zooming past, cats yowling in the early hours! On the positive side, the pitches were nicely laid out...

We stayed here in our camper. The setting is good, close to great cliff top walks, and on one of the D Day beaches. The toilet blocks are newish, spotless, and have both loo paper and soap, a real rarity in our experience. The Internet is good too, and there are two washing machines, a dryer, and an indoor place...
