Fabulous location for the Mulberry Harbour and Arromanches museums. Clean and tidy, Fresh croissant and ham and cheese continental breakfast. Our first visit here was in 2005 and we always wanted to go back. It didn't disappoint .

Background: We are retired Americans who pursue an active lifestyle, appreciate functional and clean lodging with easy-in and easy-out access. We generally don't rate a hotel unless we've spent at least two nights there. We stayed here while touring the Normandy D-Day sights. Would I stay here again? Yes Notable positives: Fabulous view of the beach, good bedding, location Notable...

We live in Normandy, and go up to this beachfront hotel every May for a quick getaway weekend. The views from the rooms overlooking the famous WWII "artificial port" are just amazing. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and well-priced for the location. The new owners are doing a great job upgrading the hotel. The restaurant, which...

We arrived late, after the restaurant closed, and tired. Laura had the restaurant prepare seafood platters and a bottle of wine. She even delivered the food to our room. The Queen sized bed was comfy, the bathroom of good size, and we had a lovely view l.

This hotel is in a fabulous location right on the beach at Arromanches. The restaurant was good (although pricey) and staff courteous. Loved our walk on the beach and up the hill to viewpoint. We stayed in triple room that was more spacious than other rooms intended for families during our stay. Nice view to the sea from top level....

What amazing views of Gold Beach, we had a first floor sea view and it was stunning. It is literally the last building from the shops to the sea. Yes the room is small and basic, but this I feel is reflected in the price. The bed was very comfy and offered an excellent night sleep. Bathroom was clean and...

I stayed here for three nights. The room was comfortable and clean. My only criticism of the room, is that the toilet was separate to the sink and bathroom . . . . so a bit of tribulation when wanting to wash your hands! It had Wi-Fi in the Rooms. There is a lift to all floors but this gets...

Stayed for 3 nights, room very small and needs redecorating, however, view was fantastic out to sea overlooking the remains of the mulberry harbour. The room had an extremely small bathroom (the WC was separate), the bath was tiny with a shower over. As in many french hotels, there was no kettle/tea-making facilities within the room, there was also no...

We were here for 2 nights as our home base to tour the D-Day sites. We had a great corner room with many windows with beautiful views and saw the sunset each night. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, but the dinner in the hotel was amazing!
