We stayed here a few years ago and found it superb. Unfortunatly our return was somewhat of a disappointment. Our room was in fact a small suit in the annex and generally satisfactory although why they have not replace the built-in wardrobe doors, they were sheet metal and wouldn't close properly I cannot understand. Our meal on the 1st night was...

Having lived on Jersey, CI, for over forty years, my wife and I had visited this Hotel before. It has not changed in thirty years ! We were on our way to Cherbourg, so had to visit once again. Rooms are not the best in France - haven't been in all of them of course - but are clean and...

We have visited this hotel many times in the past (8 years since we last came). It is is a beautiful port with a lovely walk around the quay to view the oyster beds. The hotel is quite large with beautiful gardens hidden in the middle. We were in the part of the hotel with the breakfast room and did...

This lovely hotel is just 30 minutes drive from the ferry port at Cherbourg making it ideal for a short break or long weekend. Located in a fishing village the hotel oozes charm. My wife and I have been a couple of times in previous years- this latest trip some 15 years since our last visit. Sadly, in common with...

Spontaneous farewell lunch with friends before catching the Cherbourg ferry. 4 people, no booking, no problem. Large dog, no problem. Delightful conservatory dining room, discreet but attentive service, and the meal was very special - small amounts, but beautifully presented and unusual combinations of tastes. Only criticism was that the decor was a little tired, and the garden view looked...

Stayed here when on business in Cherbourg. An excellent choice. A really pleasant coastal town a short distance/time from Cherbourg. The hotel has fantastic gardens and ambience. The rooms are comfortable and in keeping with the style of the building. I agree with other reviewers - the upper rooms are not for the infirm. An excellent restaurant in hotel -...

We stayed here in late August 2015. The rooms were quite comfortable - only small issue was the narrow steps to our room. Five of us had dinner at the hotel restaurant (Les Fuchias) which was delightful. Our meals were excellent, presented extremely well. Service was great and helpful. A memorable part of our visit to Normandie.

We stayed at this hotel on Friday 9th July 2015. The hotel itself is pleasant enough and has charm. The dining room and conservatory are beautiful rooms and the garden is delightful. The staff are also generally pleasant. We found our room to be dated, but just about acceptable, although if you have mobility problems you will find the upper...

My partner and I have stayed here about 45 times over a 20 year period, it's our relaxing bolt hole away from the UK. We've also taken groups of friends and family, many of whom became repeat visitors. The food is stunning and has been reviewed in several UK newspapers and magazines over the years. The cheaper rooms are quite...
