Staff were very helpful and polite. This F1 is the most expensive I have stayed in and I have stayed in 4 different locations recently, the F1 in Arras the night before was half the price of this the Hotel. This Hotel is in need of renovation the decor is tired and tatty. The room and linen was however clean....

Rooms were run down and dirty. Beds were not clean or comfortable, hot water ran out mid shower. Staff were rude for no apparent reason. Then again if you worked here you might be more than a little grumpy. Next door there was a bar/restaurant that was quite good but there is little choice as the hotel is quite remote.

Sometimes they aren't great but we usually use a Formula One on the way through France The one at Abbeville ticked all the boxes. Pleasant staff, clean room and no smoke smell! Also have to give it a good review as plenty of places to eat nearby. We chose the Villa Grill which was really good. We will definately stop...

We regularly use two F1s for journeys to and from the UK. This one has the sole benefit of being close to the channel ports. Compared to other F1 it is expensive, and while the room was a standard F1 room the toilets and showers were both dirty and broken. The reception staff seemed to engaged in loud conversations between...

It was fine. It did the job for 1 night. The toilets and shower are situated on your half of the corridor. It was a good shower. The toilets are dependent on how the last person left them. I found it noisy on a Saturday with people arriving at all hours. The breakfast was excellent for the money, baguette, croissants,...

We stopped here for 1 night late Dec 14 en route to Portugal. Checked in on spec at around 1am and were greeted by the very lovely David who was an absolute charmer with excellent English and made us feel very welcome. F1motels are what they are basic and cheap but this particular one was spotlessly clean with the whitest...

Cheap and cheerful staff. Stooped overnight on the way to the Pyrenees. They let me keep my bike in my room and were friendly at reception. The place smelt of stale smoke but was clean enough. For a sleep over it was fine but wouldn't advise taking the kids!

I booked the hotel for a 2 night overnight as a base for my motorbike trip during transit between Ypres & Normandy & then my ferry trip home via Dieppe. I arrived late on the 1st night but the desk was still 'manned' - the guy was pleasant & very helpful with advice on where may still be open for...

We stayed at two Formule 1 motels in the last few weeks when crossing France from Calais to Bordeaux and returning. The one at Evreux was fine - it all worked and was therefore good value. The one in Abbeville compared very badly. While the rooms were OK and as expected, most of the WCs were out of order or...

“It's a quiet location & I stayed on a weekend, however there was some ongoing construction along the front, so I would recommend a rear room during the week for anyone staying during the next couple of months.”
