One night was really not enough at this superb little hotel. Friendly staff, warm, clean comfortable accommodation and a delicious menu. Easily located in Senlis about 30 minute drive from the airport. Town boasts a magnificient cathedral too. We will be returning.

We like this hotel as a stop over the night before leaving our car at Charles de Gaulle airport. Rooms are comfortable and Staff of the hotel helpful and pleasant. Parking just beside the hotel There is also a little garden/courtyard for warm evenings Senlis is a lovely town with medieval buildings, cathedral, interesting museum, cafes, and restaurants as well... Having picked up our car from the Autotrain in Paris, we chose this hotel as an overnight stop on the way to Calais. Very helpful staff, and very spacious room with comfortable large bed. Modern bathroom with good shower. We had room 16, a superior room in the annexe. Dinner was outside in the garden, and the food, wine and... More

We have been golfing in this area for some years and discovered Senlis when eating at this hotel's restaurant last year. Gorgeous little place with a lovely cathedral and loads of restaurants for its size. The hotel is charming and situated in an old building although our rooms were in the garden annexe which has only 1 flight of approx... More

Disappointed as we have stayed here a few times before but now under new ownership. Standard room was very basic, no tea/coffee making facilities or complimentary bottled water offered. We dined in the restaurant and found the menu to be varied, however the wine we ordered was incorrect and noted that 2 other tables sent their wine orders back as... More

Hostellerie de la Porte Bellon is a lovely small hotel in a historic building. Our compact, ultra-modern room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Our window had a view of the street scene and a nearby corner, but with the thick old walls and effective windows we did not hear the passing traffic (actually there was very little... More

The hotel staff were very cordial and the room was fine, although be aware you may walk up three flights of stairs with your luggage. We had fabulous dining all over France, but found this restaurant to compare very poorly to the others we enjoyed in a comparable price range. Lots of other more interesting places to eat in town.

My husband and I stayed here in September and loved the ambiance of the hotel and especially the restaurant. The hotel has free parking and is in a great location, a short walk to the lovely town. Although there wasn't an Iron in our room the hotel ironed it for him for free. This was a fantastic stopover. There is... More

Loved Senlis and the Hotel was just lovely and clean and staff helpful. I had a bad knee and was grateful for being put in the 1st floor as the stairs were a bit tricky. Breakfast was more then adequate and compared to the Hotel rates in Paris the price at this Hotel justified having b'fast each morning at the... More

The Hotel Porte Bellon was a great introduction to our stay in Senlis during our cycle trip on the Avenue Verte. We were provided with a locked shed to keep our bikes overnight. The hotel was situated a very short distance from the cycle route. We had booked the last two available double rooms - one standard and one superior.... More
