Great location for families. Quite noisy due to late night mini park with loud music and dogems and random late night revellers. But the price and location of this hotel makes up for it. The hotel room we had was self catering and had a scent sized table to seat 4 people backed against a wall. My main tip for...

At first a little difficult to find as signage not great, however did eventually and arrived about 3.30. There was no one around only a sign saying do not arrive before 4! We were 3 in a one bedroom apartment - I don't think it was clear at all that the apartment is actually a living room with a mezzanine....

we're staying 2 nights on Ile de Ré, and by coincidence chose this place, not knowing that it's about 1 to 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants and the beach and the bycicle rentals. We couldn't have done it better. Moreover, The place is clean (we have a garden suite), staff are very friendly and if we were really...

We booked the garden suite and it was a smallish room with a smallish bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the location very quiet, so a good sleep was guaranteed. In the kitchen there were dirty pots and the toilet really smelly (bought some Parazone!) Wifi did not work most of the time and I think this is not...

It was the second time in this hotel for my boyfriend. And my expectations were met. We had a room with a view on the pool, very quiet. Clean room, with airconditioning, bathroom had everything we needed. The breakfast was more than enough with fresh fruit and yoghurts, croissants, toast. We missed an egg, but that was fine actually. You...

The hotel is adjacent to a bar that organizes rock concerts/turn into a night club after midnight. Impossible to sleep without earplugs. Even if your room is situated on the other side of the building, the noise go through the roof bcs of poor sound insulation. Unless you have planned to party until 2am every night I would not recommend...

We have stayed here twice. The first time was in 2010 when we had an apartment upstairs with no balcony, however we liked the hotel so booked again for this year, this time downstairs with a terraced area. The hotel is 2 star and doesn't pretend to be otherwise. On the plus: the reception is nice and the staff helpful;...

Hotel de la Plage have studio apartments and one bed apartments. We have stayed here 3 times. The Hotel is central to restaurants and beside the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a typical basic french hotel, but it is very clean and an ideal base on Ile de Re. There is a boulangerie beside it...
