Returned from our trip a couple of weeks ago. Disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and broken beds, settee lack of chocolates, rolls, jam and genuine lack of staff that seemed to have any sort of passion for the job. We hadn't used ski total before and we won't be using them again.

Staying at the Lou Trave this week with Ski Total who rate this chalet as 4 star. Their description is factual with regard to amenities but four star in the true sense it is not. The living area is very small considering the number of beds which means that there isn't enough room for everyone to sit. Seating consists of...

The issues with the chalet could be solved with a tiny bit of management from Alpine elements. I wouldn't be wasting my precious time documenting their failings if it weren't for ski alpine still owing members of our party money back after they monumentally stuffed up the equipment hire. We luckily have it all in writing but they are still...

We went skiing in Meribel in February in the school half-term week. We were in a large group of 15 and 2 others took the final room in the chalet. Everyone had a great time but the chalet needs some work doing to it. The furniture is old and basic, wifi coverage almost non-existent, very few TV channels that work,...

Third visit to this chalet in four years we were a group of 24-30 year olds. If you want a relaxed holiday and can fill the chalet with friends then it works really well. The hot tub and sauna and great and you can hook your laptop up to the TV too. It is not perfect and the lounge furniture...

I've had many chalet holidays over the past few decades, so have a library of comparisons to call on. Our stay in Lou Trave over Christmas 2014 was an okay holiday, but not the best. The chalet girls worked very hard, but it was obvious it was early in the season for the young team, Food was okay but limited,...

Chalet is in reasonable condition but cleanliness is a real issue. Kitchen is unclean. Food has been pretty awful so far. Low quality food I'd expect from a ready meal. Boot rack doesn't work very well. I've done a lot of chalet holidays and this so far has been the worst. Overall very disappointed.

Great chalet, very comfortable with the added bonus of a sauna and hot tub on the deck. We travelled as a group of 8 and we were all very pleased with our rooms. We had the top two 7 and 8 (great views) and the double and twin 4 and 5. Great beds. Warm chalet, sometimes too warm with the...

Overall, we had a great week with Alpline Elements at this chalet (14th-21st December). It is rated a 3.5 star chalet which is about right - it clearly isn't a 5 star luxury place (carpets need replacing in some areas, bed frames are not up to the job, some signs of general tiredness). But, with this expectation, it is excellent....

We where a party 8 and occupied rooms 5,6,7 and 8. In my opinin the accomodation is tired and over stressed with 18. It has been full booked all season and the furntiure is not of a quality that can withstand this much use. The most positive element of the package where our fantastic hosts. The chalet was presented as...

Dear James G Thank you for your honest and detailed post. I am so glad that you enjoyed the chalet and our hosts. In fact we have down sized the chalet due to guests' input as we feel this will drastically improve our guests' comfort. We have also made changes to room 6. However your advice with booking late for...
