This hotel was fairly low cost probably because it was a little dated & in need of refirb. The room was overlooking the slope(you could touch the snow) the room was clean & bright & of a good size with an extra bed(single & double) The food was quite good, buffet breakfast, afternoon tea & a 3 course evening meal. Our friends...

If you are considering this hotel please be aware that theft is a big issue here. Rooms have been entered by someone either with keys or having stolen keys from reception (very poor security here) and money has been stolen from a number of rooms year on year. Mark Warner have not done anything to improve security here despite it...

Just returned from a weeks holiday with my sister who is a Mark Warner devotee, her friend and our three children. I was surprised and disappointed by the state of the hotel which is tiny although well located on the slopes which is virtually the only good thing about it. The rooms were shabby as was the dining room and...

This was our first Mark Warner ski holiday and we will definitely be going back again in the future. We have always gone skiing each year, but this was the first time as parents, with a 16month old. This certainly made it more challenging, but thankfully the staff at the Tarentaise were excellent. First the location - Meribel Mottaret is...

Just got back from a week at this hotel. Stayed here 10 years ago too. Great location, really great food, clean room & bathroom. Fantastic chef & friendly staff too. Staff were a credit to the Hotels manager, nothing was too much trouble, even guests with food intolerances were well catered for too, a big thank you to 'Hannah' for...

The best things about the Tarantaise is the location for ski to door with no walking or bus transfers. The food is also excellent with a good choice including a vegetarian meal if required. The wine during the mealevening meal is a bonus. The hotel and bedrooms are reasonably decorated and furnished for a typical Chalet Hotel in a French...

Hotel is perfectly placed to ski a wide area - Courchevel, La Tania, Meribel, Mottaret, Menueire and Val Thoren. Literally is ski in and out and as it is in the middle of the 3 valleys, nowhere is a great effort to get to. The food at this place is wonderful and the staff a delight. The atmosphere is just...

Great position in high spot for skiing. Very good food. Warm and comfortable. We had a spacious, sunny room with balcony. Group skiing available. Mark Warner ensured all aspects of the holiday went smoothly,

We stayed here over New Year and had a brilliant ski holiday, with our five year old son. The hotel is in an outstanding location, directly on the piste with quick access to Courchevel and VT. In summary, great food, clean and comfortable, good atmosphere and relaxing. The food was very good, we really liked that you can choose a...

This is a lovely hotel with great staff and good food. My word of caution as an ex-ski instructor with a novice skier other half, not beginner, so she can do nice snow plough turns and finishing in parallel, is although the hotel appears to be ski in ski out from a green run, there is a significant drop both...
