Stayed at the Araucaria in mid Jan with 2 adults and 2 teens for a skiing week with half board. This was an excellent hotel and I highly recommend it. The service from the moment you check in to the moment you leave is excellent. Everything was clean and well organised. The restaurant ran very smoothly and had a really...

The hotel is really good, it is a luxury room with a great view. The hotel is right on the ski lift. You can buy the lifting pass on the lobby and also get 20% off on rent the ski material on a shop just few steps from the hotel

Top quality hotel. Good spa for after skiing with towels and gone and slippers thrown in...watch out though the floor tiles can be really slippery when wet. Very well soundproofed though we did find the room a bit hot even with the heating turned off...slet with the balcony door a bit open. Facilities good. Breakfast included and copious self service...

Just back from a few nights at the Araucaria and I can't fault it. I had excellent service from all staff members I dealt with - nothing was too much trouble. I was staying on my own whilst visiting my daughter in La Plagne and I felt very safe and very welcome in this hotel. The Spa was lovely to...

Hotel Araucaria has a great location, right next to the slopes and only a minute walk from the restaurants and shops of La Plagne. The spa has the usual sauna, pool steam room and jacuzzi. Although you have to get your timing right if you don't want to be swamped in people. Breakfast is what I would call distinctly average,...

We have stayed at the Araucaria on many occasions and accepted the somewhat quirky offer of hospitality. Last year we had a slightly disjointed New Year's Eve meal but a wonderful New Years evening, dancing the night away. Sadly this year, we had a wonderfully organised New Year's Eve meal, the Maitre d' was fabulous, very professional, exceptionally experienced and...

We love this hotel, hence why this is our 3rd year! The staff are friendly and very efficient. We stay in the family suite which is superb, it is clean and very well maitnained. The food is oustanding and the quality is just as good the 1st time we went. We will use this hotel again next year as it...

I genuinely believe that the reviews of this hotel on Trip Advisor are in no way a genuine reflection of this hotel and struggle to see how anyone could score it 5/5. This hotel could never be rated as a 4 star establishment and is a 3 star at best. Rather than score based on an overall performance, I thought...

Dear Madame/Sir, Thank you very much for your review about our hotel. We highly appreciate every opinion which helps us to improve and provide better service and overall ski experience to our guests. Feeling sorry that you didn’t have the best possible holidays, however, we would like to clarify on some issues that, unfortunately, have been misinterpreted at your end:...

Just stayed for a few days. Location great for ski in and out. Rooms facing slalom piste are best. Restaurant good if a little pricy. Staff helpful. Hotel bar doesn't have much character but there is Dood local apres-ski. La Mine is good local bar with decent prices and live music.
