We spend one night at Bluchertall during our stay in Bacharach. A basic, but clean and comfy hotel with a perfect value for money. Simple, but clean rooms, with everything you need. One point of criticism, the rooms were very noisy. The hotel is run by a family, which gives you a very and warm welcome feeling. Absolutely a plus for us! The breakfast was surprisingly wonderful! Fresh food, warm bread, a lot of options to choose from, perfect. The friendly staff will take care of a great start of your day.

Walking distance to the gorgeous Bacharach. The advantage to staying in town is that here you don’t have the railway track, which is extremely noisy all through the night. Room was spotlessly clean. Really glad about the air conditioning, few countryside hotels in Germany have one. (That’s important because it was really warm and humid so far inland from the river.) Good quality breakfast and excellent service. The owners are really nice. They were even happy to store some edibles and a bottle of wine in their fridge for more than half a day. We decided we’ll be staying here whenever we go to Bacharach.

The rooms were simple but clean. Walking distance to the village center. Breakfast was good and we had dinner also one evening. Had the goulash and it was delicious. There is a nice walk along the vineyards which is very scenic. Hosts were very kind.

OMG this place was amazing. The room had a shared balcony looking over gardens and you can see the church that wakes you in the mornings with its ancient bell ringing. The hotel has an anormouse function room that you pass through to get to your amazing breakfast. It's so lovely and the smell makes you think you back in the 1700's! (Oldie smell, not a nasty smell that isn't) The walk down to Bacharach is amazing too. Let me say I wasn't overly fussed about going to Germany but sooo glad I did. (It is about a 15 minute walk to the town of Bacharach but a must!) We caught the Ferry up and down the Rhine, explored Bacharachs wonderful history, must also say it's on my list to RE visit this place with my family. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Lastly be sure to go and get dinner at the 'posthof' the guy that runs this place is a hidden gem. The food is Devine! Hope this helps

The rooms are exactly as shown in pictures. The windows do not have curtains rather shutters which block out light very well. The breakfast at the hotel is a real disappointment. We have been to many places in the region and breakfasts are really generous. The breakfast offers very limited variety and tea and coffee is served at the table which makes it inconveneint in many ways. We cannot access tea and coffee ourselves, there was no variety of tea flavors, and it seems inconveneint to ask the lady for another cup if one wishes. The towels that were replaced next day were a bit worn out. Considering that this guest house is not cheap as compared to other hotels in the region, one would expect a better or at least comparable service to other places. I would not want to stay there again.
