I really wanted to love it here. I read so many reviews for hotels in Ischia and this seemed like the most authentic and relaxing place to stay. I didn't love it but my husband was obsessed with this hotel and had the best time here on our honeymoon. So, I'll average out our ratings and give it a four....

What an incredibly beautiful place! We went here with my sister and her husband as part of our big birthday celebration and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The accommodations were beautiful – every need was considered and met in the rooms/apartments themselves. The breakfasts were fantastic – cheeses, meats, yogurt and fruit, and some of those wonderful Italian...

Lovely accommodation with particularly guest focused staff who are always on hand yet discreet in their manner. Spectacular sea views from the terraces of the upper rooms. Amazing sunsets being at the west of the island. The food is tasty, all home grown fresh ingredients. The breakfast was excellent with many handmade cakes and pastries. The even catered for non...

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel. Couldn't fault accommodation, facilities, staff or location. Truly superb for a "get away from it all" break. In the hills up narrow roads outside Forio so either use the free shuttle bus that operates during the day, or walk to the bus route / use a taxi. Room was first...

This is a beautiful little hotel with fantastic gardens where they grow their own produce and fresh ingredients. The views of the ocean and the sunset are amazing but it's just a shame our short stay was tainted by rude and unwelcoming staff. It all started with abrupt and aggressive emails when we were simply asking if the shuttle could...

Can't speak highly enough about our stay here. Grounds were magnificently maintained with grape vines, stucco, and trellises, spacious, comfortable pool lounging area, very helpful and friendly staff, convenient shuttle to help you get where you need to go each day, variety in the breakfast spread. Not a single negative aspect of our entire stay!

My fiancé and I visited Forio with another couple to spend the last few days of an amazing two-week trip through Italy. We could not have found a more idyllic place to relax. We were treated with the utmost respect and never found a lack of hospitality. There was honestly nothing I could find to fault with this place. Being...

All aspects of this hotel were excellent, particularly the staff and facilities. The hotel has a free minibus service to take you to the coastal attractions. The staff are very helpful in making suggestions. The hotel is close to three good restaurants.

The highest quality throughout from the welcome to the accommodation and the food there is nothing to fault in this establishment. The care and discrete attention that the staff in this hotel lavish on their guests is second to none. The attention to detail, and tasteful design is evident throughout and is matched by the professionalism and genuine warmth of...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Poggio Antico for three nights in late March. Despite it being a quiet season - with most of Ischia's tourist attractions and restaurants still closed - we were taken away by the warm welcome of the hotel owners. They made excellent suggestions and the in-house car service was at our disposal to go to...
