My son and I spent a week at Baia di Sorgeto and we were very pleased. It was everything it purported to be on HomeAway -- there are indeed two thermal pools and the accommodations are lovely and very comfortable. Not only that, but the location is great since it's only five minutes from the Bay of Sorgeto where hot...

Pipino is a great host. Always has time to talk and inform about the best places to see, times of ferries, buses etc. The residence is excellently placed for the best beaches and accommodation is more than sufficient for self-caterers. There are plenty of good restaurants around for eating out. The pool and spa section are great too and all...

In the most beautiful part of Ischia, the wine district, you find this lovely apartment-hotel. if you want a quiet holiday, this is perfect, and that was what me and my friend wished for. Mr Peppino and his wife and children took very good care of us.

My wife and I stayed at Baia di Sorgetto in late June - I can really recommend it. The description is absolutely spot on; a set of apartments in a genuine rural Italian setting with spa facilities (including an indoor thermal pool which was very good) and an outdoor pool, set among vineyards and with a thermal (hot) water beach...

We had a very enjoyable stay for 3 nights in mid May. Peppino and his family are excellent hosts and really make you feel at home, and will help you with any arrangements. Ischia itself is relatively unknown compared to Capri and other sites in Italy, which really made our stay that much more interesting. The towns are not that...

Peppino's place is a very special holiday resort and Peppino is a fantastic host with a genuine and warm smile of welcome. He and his wife are so enthusiastic about Ischia, the benefits of their thermal pools and always available for help or a friendly chat. It's the sort of place you would like to keep a secret, but obviously...

Me and my friend stayed here for a week (mid May). We got a lovely room with the view of the sea and the first thing we did was to go and have a dip in a thermal water pool that we really enjoyed. Peppino was always there to answer any questions, give us suggestions, book trips and taxis which was a...

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Middle of May. It was a lovely experience. Peppino is a wonderful host, and very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, with some great recommendations. It was very relaxing and a great way to end our trip. Thanks again Peppino

We really enjoyed our stay here. After running around and touring Italy for two weeks, it was perfect to end our trip in Ischia at Peppino's B&B. We loved the indoor hot tub and outdoor pool which contained water straight from the volcano and which supposedly has magical healing properties. The location is really great, just a few minutes walk...

Last September we spent a blissful week at Residence Baia Sorgeto in Ischia. The Residence belongs to Peppino and his wife and it is built over a hot spring where Peppino has installed both an indoor and outdoor pool. This gives guests direct access to the therapeutic properties of the undiluted mineral water which Peppino filters naturally keeping the water...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ischia self-catering Apartments BAIA DI SORGETO, open the whole year, is situated amongst the lush green vineyards of Forio in Ischia. Our thermal pool, whose temperature varies between 32C to 36C, is refilled each morning with pure, natural hot thermal waters. These waters flow directly from the salty, sulphurous underground springs that, at their depth of 105 metres, heat naturally at 81C. The waters in the pool have therapeutic properties, which are reputed to assist in the cure of arthritis. In addition, the waters aid circulation and help maintain muscle tone as well as stimulate the skin. Sorgeto Bay is rich in hot thermal springs in the Mediterranean Sea where one can bathe in the sea, even in Winter. In some places, the sea is so hot that it would be possible to boil eggs and potatoes. And more: if a turfacean stone is scratched, a mud can be obtained which can be used for making a beauty musk for the face. ... more   less
