The entire place is beautifully landscaped, the room were well spaced to provide maximum comfort and privacy. The food is well prepared and the restaurant staff always willing to help. Covid restrictions well placed. Parking and beach chairs were assigned per room. We took the Bilocale Silver package and have the room close to the amenities plus second line beach chairs. Everything is clean and staff are amazing. We traveled with our 4-year old and they offer plenty to entertain kids. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing family vacation. We will be back.
This place is amazing! The bungalows are immersed in a perfectly manicured botanic garden and blend in very nicely with nature. There is such variety of plants, including pluricentennial olive and oak trees. The private beach is a mixture of sand and small shingle, which is gentle on the feet and keeps the water crystal clear. The beach front is only a few hundred metres away from the accommodation but there is also a shuttle service running all day for those unwilling to walk up the hill. There are two restaurants offering a huge variety of food, with a focus on local dishes (Cilento is in the heartland of mozzarella production and seafood is amazing). The waiters go out of their way to provide a friendly and attentive service. Our accommodation was Villarosa, which is one of the larger bungalows/villas on offer. The decor was exceptional and the slightly higher price was definitely worth it, as we had three separate rooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with a kitchenette and large verandah just for us. The villa was cleaned twice a day and the cleaners (Antonia and her aunt) were so polite and friendly. Happy Village has a reputation for its entertainment programme, which really stands out compared to other resorts we visited in the past. The 'animation' staff are true professionals and although the programme is geared towards an Italian-speaking audience, my wife and kids, who do not speak much Italian, loved it too. The Village offers a good range of sport activities, including archery, tennis and water sports. Free lessons are included for most of these activities. Our tennis coach, Fabrizio, was fantastic and made the week very enjoyable for everyone. He also went out of his way to organise matches for guests who requested this. Finally, on departure we accidentally left a couple of items in the room. Reception rang me and posted the items back to me for free, despite me offering to pay for the courier: nice touch!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Grazie…
If you are looking for the perfect all included village for a relaxing holiday, Happy Village is the place to go. We just spent a week there. As lovers of quiet, green areas and sea, we enjoyed the pool, the gorgeous grounds and the tranquility. The food was excellent, cooked local delicacies, fish, cheeses and lots of cooked and fresh vegetables and fruits. There is a wonderful troup of young people who provide nightly entertainment- they are personable, welcoming and talented. It was very hard to leave. If you have small children, there is a baby mini-club with activities and dancing for them all day. For older young people and those looking for night life, you will have to look elsewhere. During the day there are sports, diving, tennis, etc, there is not much in the way of more 'sophisticated' entertainment. We have been back three times and I can't wait to return next year. Highly recommended!…
We had a great time here. The bar is big and the rooms very comfortable. It's a short walk to two big beaches and a 20min walk to the marina along the coast past many other beautiful beaches and bays. It has a big pool play area for kids and the restaurant has amazing views over the sea.
Great place and decoration, all-natural beauty, and lots of things to do. Luxury and elegance. Nice food. Excellent location. Friendly people and staff. Eating by the beach was very convenient and its three different restaurants complement each other. The pool is amazing.
Let me start with the good things: 1. Good food, prepare to put some weight 2. Nice gardens 3. Peaceful The bad: 1. There is nothing to do there, as the day activities are non existent for adults. 2. Animation for kids is really bad, as the entertainment team clearly lacks the skills and/or will to do something interesting. 3. You get only 2 loungers on the beach for 4 people with tiny umbrella, resulting in only 1 bed being in the shade 4. Too many people cramped on the beach 5. The pool is tiny 6. You need to leave a deposit if you want to use sports equipment. I had to leave €10 to get a ball for football! The ugly: There is no air conditioning in the rooms!!! We couldn't really sleep because of the heat. All in all, we will not return.
Lovely location, fantastic food, marvellous gardens if you want to simply relax there really no need to leave the village for a week. It's very Italian singing dancing which can be easily avoided if you don't want be involved. Just one thing to look out for avoid rooms 611 to 614 and 601 as they are near a very noisy laundry.
Stayed at this beautiful resort for 7 days which I can honestly saying is being missed tremendously!! Right from the first day, we were happy with this place..the tremendous amount of olive trees, the beautiful foliage and fruit trees that are so well maintained really give the "village" a serene and tranquil feel...The food is delicious and varied with the local cuisine of the region, especially the mozzarella di buffalo which is incredible! The rooms are very clean and all have a small patio overlooking more olive trees and flowers..The beach is a 10 minute walk which wasn't a problem but there is also a "happy bus" which runs about every 10 minutes that will take you down to the beach and back up to the resort. The breakfast buffet in the morning is situated on a nice outside patio with a variety of "brioches" (croissants),tarts and other various foods, fruit and yogurt...The beach has chairs assigned according to your room numbers and the water is clear and blue, although there is some sand, as you get closer to the water there are small rocks but not a big problem! The "animators" of the resort are very friendly...the staff on the resort are also very courteous and accomodating! There is a great restaurant on the resort which you need to make reservations for to eat there..the food is great and the brick oven pizza is delicious! We all had such a great time at this resort and were sad to leave...great area where the resort is located which is called Marina Di Camerota in Salerno and for us coming all the way from New York this was so worth it....we travel to different beach resorts in Italy every summer and this resort by far is one of the ones we will remember!!…
