In Marina di Camerota, theRELAIS PIAN DELLE STARZE HOTEL serves up a setting that is utterly beautiful, ideal for reconnecting and enjoying a change of pace. The hills and the garden create a verdant backdrop for the lovely building, which boasts terraces, stone walls and tiled floors. The ambiance is warm and the atmosphere is private. The handsomely furnished 12 rooms and 3 suites at this charming Campania hotel are spacious and cool, thanks in particular to the air conditioning. Wood and marble dressing tables, wrought iron headboards, and antique chests of drawers create a rather rustic, tasteful style. The rooms have satellite TV, Wifi, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and more. Their windows look out on the garden or to the sea. The house-made cakes at breakfast or regional specialities prepared with local organic ingredients at the restaurant are further proof that the Pian delle Starze de Marina di Camerota takes great care of you. You can eat under the olive and carob trees before or after spending time at the pool. The sea also awaits you in the vicinity of Relais Pian delle Starze, as does Salerno and the many picturesque villages that make Italy charming.

Lovely, restful location near many amazing beaches. We only stayed one night but could easily envision staying a week and enjoying the vast number of beautiful beaches nearby. We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was really good with a wide range of hot and cold foods. Only negative was the poor wifi in our room.

I came for a weekend with some girlfriends for some R&R at the beginning of August and it was fab. Beautiful and peaceful grounds, really helpful and diligent staff, and just a great place to get away from everything! The restaurant was also very enjoyable but I think there could be some more meat options on the menu. I had 2 fish meals whilst there and they were both excellent however. Looking forward to visiting again

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Service was amazing and the hotel and food were great. We got a welcome drink at the bar on arrival, they upgraded our room, organised a boat trip along the coast for us, English menu printed out each day and the food was excellent. Would come back again and again.

We drove into Marina di Camerota with the intention of staying in town, but after observing the traffic noise, we decided to head for the hills and came up to this hotel, encouraged by TA reviews. It's a pretty little hotel with a great looking garden above the town. Pick a room in the front and get a great view of the sea from the balcony. We chose the junior suite and were not disappointed. Staying five nights, I would say this was the best hotel in our entire trip. Staff very nice and helpful and Housekeeping first rate. Dinner was on a fixed price menu and very generous. We tried it once but felt we couldn't eat like this every evening as it was too much food for us but I do recommend you try it at least once.
IMPORTANT: Wifi is very good and didn't drop once, unlike most of the places we stayed in.

3 things though to take note of:
Bring mosquito spray and use liberally if sitting outside; the little buggers are vicious. They also get in the room so ask for insect spray and use the netting over the windows and doors.
The shower pod in the room is unfortunate. It's very tight and difficult to get in and out of and not the best for people with dicky knees. Maybe when it comes time to renovate, they might consider replacing them.
The acoustics of the building seem to amplify noise, so come breakfast time, you will get woken up by people tramping up and down. We had a heffalump in high heels above us. Maybe choosing a room on the top floor will help? Or come in low season.
All in all, we really like this hotel and will stay here again if we come back to this region.

We stayed in June and the hotel room was awesome. We had a suite that had one room for our boys with a comfortable day bed and another bedroom for my husband and me! The hotel lobby was awesome! Such beautiful decor! It is up a road from the marina. Great place to stay with a family!

Good and professional service. Some things we left and forgot were send by mail immediately to our home adress. THX. Superior room was good, although small but with nice balcony. The swimming pool is a refreshing bonus and the location (5 mts drive outside MdC) is outstanding for seaviews and walks to beautifull small beaches. Breakfast was ok. If the atmosphere had more character of a family owned B&B, this would be a perfect place for us for more nights.

The place is nice, bedrooms are small and it’s almost impossible to take a shower (look at the picture).

The breakfast is completely not like photos on the website, firstly you have to dress the table by yourself. (It is supposedly a 4stars hotel).

Fruits, orange juice (pressed by yourself), toasts, boiled eggs, cakes, sausages. (you have to ask for milk).

The noise is present during the night, chair noises, slamming doors, talking people, hammer blow at 7:00, phone ringing t reception ... there is no noise insulation in bedrooms. We had two bedrooms on first floor and our friend had the same problem.

We went to see the reception to talk about the noise, they laughed at us !!! It is just unacceptable !

Hopefully waitress were very kind and helpful.

We don’t recommend this hotel it is absolutely not a relais du silence !!!!

If you want to have some rest don’t come here !!!

Me and my husband spendt 6 nights in the hotel . Its one of the best experience ever. Up in the mountains in Camerota there is a beautiful oase like paradise waiting every day after a long day in the sun and walking or driving to the beaches. The rooms are very comfortable and clean , the silence and the beautiful view are breathtaking and relaxing. The food and wine are high class . I have no Words . The best of all where the staff... young ,friendly , smiling, personal ,serviceminded and very professional for giving their guests the best. If we can make IT we will Come Back . We will Come Back 🤗Anne & Leif , Norway

The place is absolutely amazing, decorated with so much taste. Flowers all around, silence, peace. The food is really good but above all the people is close. Real Italy in an incredible environment. We will come back (next time with the whole family) for sure.

This was my second stay here.
Pros: There is a beautiful walk in swimming that even in the scorching heat of Southern Italian summer sun was nearly always empty.
The rooms were good size with nice modern bathrooms and good air conditioning.
It was only a short drive to Marina di Camerota.
The restaurant was very good and the hotel staff are lovely.
The views are stupendous this is a stunning part of the world.
Cons:
Not many but I cannot understand why Italians do not use solar water heating to heat their pools. The swimming pool water was a bit cool although the weather was very hot.
The walk way up to the pool is unsafe and should be smoothed out as there are literally large and quite sharp rocks leading up to pool. My sister in law badly cut her toe walking up.
