This place has all the charm of a mountain cabin mixed with the country estate. Beautiful public rooms, beautiful grounds with hiking trails, and warm staff welcome you. There was a great breakfast as well. Only complaint is the small one and that is the size of the room compared to the bed. Big bed, small room. Made it a...

This property has extended views. Access necessitates a climb up from Piazza Armerina and then a decent down a steep driveway. Rooms are decorated in a spartan manner but are fully functional with modern bathrooms. Dinner, served on site, was good although the pasta primi portion was quite small. Breakfast options were limited.

Difficult to find (although once on the way, well signposted). The hotel enjoys fantastic views; a great terrace with a fresh breeze all the time despite the summer heat. Restaurant is good. The rooms are clean but climbing up two floors with baggage is quite a feat. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

We visited off-season and there was only one other couple staying there. Our room was small and very basic but had a nice view of the hills and Piazza Armerina in the distance. The staff ranged from not caring at all to very accommodating. Food was pretty good... typically Sicilian. No menu, they just kept bringing dishes. Torre di Renda...

My first night here but what is memorable is the food. Had sensational pasta for lunch and dinner. Since my Italian is pitiful and the host's English is very limited so I left it to their discretion for my pasta. It is worth staying just to eat here. So now I am looking forward to the breakfast. Oh yeah, the...

We stayed for two nights, and truly enjoyed it. Perfect Location to visit Villa Casale and Morgantina. Truly good food, authentic, typically Sicilian. The rooms were simple and clean, very quiet, listened to the birds singing. What a great way to stay.

As Piazza Armerina is centrally situated in Sicily, Torre di Renda was an excellent choice as our base. We stayed for three days. Drove out during the day and returned late afternoon for a relaxing dip in the pool. A very well maintained place with the surrounding woods great for an early morning walk. A delicious breakfast was served while...
