The setting is spectacular: the views, the serenity, the infinity pool overlooking the hills--not in use until mid-May! When we arrived we were offered an "upgrade" in the secondary building. The room there felt more an American condo than a room in a castle. Modern, well-equipped but definitely lacking the character of those who book a castello because they want...

The rooms we had in the old church were wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The wine tasting was excellent. The countryside scenes surrounding the castle were breathtaking!

My wife and I decided to stay here for our anniversary trip to Tuscany. The location was quite nice and very scenic up in the hills. They have their own vineyards which were magnificent and their wine was quite good. If you do plan to go make sure you do the Wednesday family dinner tasting and wine pairing they also...

This place is just stunning. Both location and hotel itself is just great! Run by a very friendly Italian family. Don't miss wine tasting runned by an amazing South African ladie! She is the most friendly person in the whole team! 😍 They produce their own wine- I recommend Chianti Classico and Rose. We decided to have our wedding there...

Magical place, large and quiet bedrooms, beautiful estate, we only stayed here one night but could have stayed more. Would recommend for a quiet retreat in the Tuscan countryside. Did not have dinner, but breakfast was lovely. Was near empty in April perfect for a retreat

We had the best few days staying at Castello Vicchiomaggio, it is an absolutely stunning venue, the views are breathtaking and the hospitality excellent. We stayed in the Donatella room which was lovely and immaculately clean. The buffet breakfast each morning was very good with lots of options and we also did a private wine tour and tasting which was...

Located in some of the most beautiful countryside in Chanti area, this Tuscan castle is full of rich heritage continuing with the current family who have developed a working vineyard with some of the best Sangiovese wines available on the market. Do take advantage of the tour and private dinner. The tour is much more informative than you can imagine...

It's a beautiful castle in Greve in Chianti. It is a real castle experience and the views and countryside. It allows one to stay in a portion which is a hotel, to dine or to do wine tasting. I recommend that one spend the time in this area to do them all.

Only stopped here for lunch, very welcoming, lovely meal, did not realise it was also a hotel. Would have been nice to stay here. The usual winery shop with wine tasting, a nice tour of the wine making process, all in all a great lunch.
