We came here to enjoy the location as well as the fact that this hotel also has it's own vineyard. The owners are very nice people, who are very willing to help and give advice as to what to see. Our room was really nice as well. All in all we were very pleased with everything.

To say that Le Cetinelle was an incredible place to stay, does not do it justice. If you want to experience the "best" and most "authentic" step back in "time" accommodation, do yourself a favour and stay here !!! The location is perfect to use as a base to discover Tuscany and head back to at the end of your...

~10min drive outside Greve in Chianti on off-road (the place is not marked correctly in Google Maps, need to drive 2-3 minutes beyond what Google Maps says). Isolated place, very quiet, relaxing and great views. Great host and staff.

I put together a trip for 12 of us. We spent 3 days in Greve. Le Cetinelle was the center piece of that part of the trip. A friend said 3 days in Chianti?? What are we going to do? When we were leaving he asked if we had to go. Simonetta was a fantastic hostess. I wanted to bring...

We sent a week here in September/October. A superb oasis for peaceful relaxing in close proximity to most Tuscany sights also some great local walks. Simonetta is a brilliant hostess made us so welcome when we were late as a result of delayed flight. When she has cooking students you can eat there and the food was wonderful. Lucca also...

Great place! Beautiful setting. Vineyards and Olive trees on property. The owner is very friendly and pleasant! Gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Rooms are simple and clean. They make their own wine which is available for $8 Euro

The agriturismo can be reached via dirt and gravel road either from Greve in the west or Torsoli in the east. True, the road is bumpy and steep, and the car might get quite dirty, but I could still manage with my small Fiat 500 with 50kW without any problems. Even at night it was no problem finding the right...

We booked a cooking school vacation through the International Cooking School - Chianti Cooking, that brought us to Le Cetinelle. A beautiful place in the heart of Tuscany with plenty of rustic charm and the appropriate mod cons to satisfy a relaxing and peaceful getaway while not being completely off the grid. I do recommend having your own car though...

This place is very accommodating and helpful. Beautiful grounds, lots of space to relax , swim and thoroughly enjoy your holiday. We are 4 couples who are just finishing a wonderful week here at Le Cetinelle. Delicious Tuscan food served (by request )outside accompanied by their own wines and liqueur . Great views from their elevated position 5km from Greve....

Best place ever in Tuscany. Perfect services, perfect styled rooms, great location, superb stuff. Near the Greve in Chianti, 10 minutes from city with nice view to landscape and wineyards. Perfect home wine production. Only 30-40 minutes from highway.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This typical stone-built Tuscan farmhouse, completely renovated, is only 5 km from the town of Greve in Chianti and is the perfect base for anyone who wishes to visit the great art cities of Tuscany and the medieval villages of Chianti, or for those who prefer walking or excursions on mountain bikes, or for those who want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside. On the first floor of the house there are 6 bedrooms with bathroom, each one finely furnished with great attention to every detail. The splendid ceilings with wood beams and terracotta tiles, the windows which offer beautiful views of the garden, the vines and the hills make this house special. There is a large dining room with a fireplace where we serve breakfast. There is also a kitchen for the use of the guests of the B&B.Le Cetinelle’s position is indeed special, on a hill-top away from the crowds, 620m above sea-level. Our guests can relax in the lovely flower garden which surrounds the house, where tables, chairs and hammocks are at the disposal of all the guests. The saltwater pool has spectacular views over the vines, the olive groves, the hills and as far as Florence itself, particularly beautiful at sunset. Guests can sample the farm’s products – wine and olive oil. ... more   less
