We stayed here as part of a tour and loved the place. Venice lagoon is right there and the surrounding area is very beautiful. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom has everything you need and it is very quiet at night. The outside terrace is a great place to sit at the end of the day...

While birding the Venice Lagoon, we stayed two nights at Agriturismo La Barena. Our spacious room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included with our room and was plentiful and tasty. Each evening we had dinner in the restaurant. The food was from the farm-fresh and delicious. One day Michele took us for a boating trip on the lagoon....

Beautiful place...amazing food and nature, plus we rented a motorboat for a trip in the lagoon...lovely. All food is from the lagoon and nearby farm. The owners are very very friendly. There is no wi-fi, nor internet, since the cell signal is poor, a plus for me :-)

Very spacious and comfortable rooms with airconditioning and outside terrace/balcony. The drive up there is beautiful. 8km of gravel road lead you to this secluded place in the middle of the lagoon. Absolutely beautiful! The owner Michele is very friendly and helps make your stay as comfortable as possible. We rented a boat one day. We thought it was a...

After a scenic drive in the gravel road we arrived at La Barena. The location is isolated and beautiful. The owner, Michal, made us feel right at home immediately. The restaurant does not prepare lunch and they were in the middle of taking care of a private event. We hesitated to bother them but we had just driven from Montecatini...

We stayed at La Barena for three nights and loved everything about it. The owners are really nice people that live there for generations and make you feel at home right away. The originally decorated rooms offer a beautifull view of the lagoon. There is no wi-fi or television, but a lot of peace and nature. The breakfast is very...

We had a wonderful time at La Barena. We are a family of four and it was a perfect place for our family to stay outside of Venice. It was very peaceful with wonderful views of the Venetain lagoon. There was plenty of space for our children to run and play and the children especially enjoyed seeing the animals on...

Very quiet location in the middle of the Venetian lagoon. Nice, large, airy rooms with balconies offering fabulous views to Cavallino across the water. Very good breakfast with home-made cakes and fresh fruit from the gardens. Loredana makes you feel at home and is an attentive but not intrusive host. The gravel road to the property does take 20 minutes...

Be prepared to travel roughly one hour by car from here to Punta Sabbioni where you can reach vaporetto. But it is worth to travel through the narrow (really) gravel road on the laguna. Accomodation is modern and fine. Restaurant very local and worth to dine. If you have more time you can borrow a small boat and ride to...

We had a very enjoyable few days at La Barena, and were very well looked after by Michel and his family. Our room included a small kitchenette which meant we could alternate cooking for ourselves with the very substantial dinners cooked in the restaurant. They are all local and home cooked ingredients, with wine included. We rented a motor boat...
