Very nice, stylish hotel on the sea front. We had a light, spacious room which was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of storage and there was a great, powerful shower - only the hairdryer let it down (and that's me being really picky!). The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The facilities (pool, bars, library, restaurant)...

Situated in one of the hidden gems of the Medeiran coastline about 45 minutes from Funchal it is the setting that identifies this little hotel apart from others. The town is rich in history and even has on old cinema dating back to 1933. The beach is pebbled but visitors flock to the area because of its perceived access to...

Such great value as you can use all the facilities up the hill at the Estlagem including the infinity pool and spa. Our room had sea views and you could hear the waves crash at night. They also offer lots of free transfer options. We did the beautiful but terrifying levada nova walk up the valley through a tunnel and...

We read about Da Vila and its sister hotel Estalagem which facilities (stunning pool!) can also be used in a German travel magazine and decided to book due to the nice and promising article. We have not been disappointed! The hotels as well as the whole village Ponta do Sol are so charming and welcoming. This is truly a hidden...

Good environment and good breakfast, with a lot of variety when comparing with the hotel size. Very well located with an amazing view when we open the window. The rooms were pleasant.. The waitress at the bar wasn't nice and seems doesn't care..

When I'm reviewing the Hotel da Villa it is specifically relating to the evening meals in their restaurant as we did not actually stay in this hotel. The cuisine is of a high standard we ate there for the duration of our 11 night stay in Madeira. The menu is varied and the prices are fairly reasonable, you are able...

We stayed at the Hotel da Vila for 1 week in June. It's a great small boutique hotel. Very simply designed and furnished. More than enough for what we needed. all rooms look out to the sea. The wifi is great actually, we managed to stream videos, which is a good sign! Breakfast was great. Continental, but with hot eggs,...

We booked this hotel due to the reviews on tripadvisor and we were so pleased it was just as wonderful as we hoped . It was our first trip to Madeira and Ponta Do Sol was the perfect place for us to stay. Small quiet inlet with some restaurants for dinner so there was no need to drive anywhere after...
