Located on the other side of the center of Porto in the town of Vila Nova de Gaia, cradle of Porto producers. Moreover, the hotel must be owned by the adjoining Boiera estate. A voucher for a free tasting with a 20% discount on your purchases will be given to you upon your arrival. Access to the center of Porto will be via the metro (station 8 minutes walk) or Uber (for a ridiculous cost between 4 and 7€). UBER is the best solution in this city. We never waited more than 3 minutes. Otherwise, the hotel: built in 2018. A haven of peace in a magnificent garden. Very nice reception with young and very friendly staff, just like the valet porter. A Port tasting will be offered to you upon arrival. Very modern building with huge corridors. Very spacious rooms with bell and peephole. Very comfortable bed with excellent mattress topper and pillows. Mirror TV with USB and HDMI connections. Dolce gusto machine and mini bar (empty). A paid bottle of water. Large balcony. Large bathroom with huge shower. Big dressing room. As for breakfast, it is simply wonderful, a huge choice. On the gym side, the equipment is complete with all the necessary dumbbells and balls. Disposable earphone kit, disinfection wipes, high quality towels. All in the 2nd basement, open 24 hours overlooking the large indoor swimming pool (no exterior view). The changing rooms are luxuriously equipped. The SPA, very large swimming pool with lots of jet effects. Large hammam and sauna. In short, we loved it. All with very kind and competent staff. So don't hesitate, you will pay much less than in the center of Porto and in absolute calm.

What an amazing island of tranquility. It’s like a secret garden! All the modern amenities, close enough to walk to where all the action (day and nightlife) is and yet be able to retire to what felt like our own little haven of peace. The team at this hotel are just superb and it’s left us thinking we simply have to visit again. Absolutely amazing stay and highly recommend!

Just spent 10 days at this hotel our room was very spacious & comfortable. Indoor pool was lovely unfortunately we couldn’t use the outdoor pool as it was contaminated by the wildfires Hotel is in lovely grounds a 20 minute walk up from the river. We always got an Uber back but they were always available & very cheap Reception staff were welcoming & pleasant. The bar manager & his 1 staff member were extremely good & helpful. No complaints with the servicing of our room it was always cleaned thoroughly please remember though that the tea bags do need replenishing Breakfast was the one thing that let the hotel down. There was plenty of options when choosing what to eat & on a good day staff took orders from the menu card & served teas & coffees. Other days staff were totally disengaged with the hotel guests. Food on the hot buffet though plentiful wasn’t particularly hot & the pancakes were stone cold. Perhaps they could have been on the menu with the omelette etc & served warm We had a couple of evening meals in the bar area which we enjoyed we didn’t use the Raizes Restaurant as it didn’t look very inspiring which was a shame However overall we did enjoy our stay it was a nice comfortable place to head back to after a day of sightseeing

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the Ribeira de Gaia and the Dom Luis I Bridge. This allows you to enjoy the animation and attractions of Porto, without giving up tranquility. Overall, the staff is very helpful and the rooms are great. I would highlight positively the swimming pool, the splendid garden, the breakfast service and the team that serves it, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms. As elements to improve, I think they should offer more sun loungers in the outdoor pool, since there are few of them and the Balinese beds (for a fee) take up too much space. They should also have the jacuzzi in the spa area and the terrace on the 3rd floor operational. Finally, the RaÃzes restaurant is too expensive for what it offers. I also don't understand why they charge €6 for the bottle of water you find when you enter the room. In any other hotel it would be offered as a courtesy.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Boeira Garden hotel. The hotel is in a great location, situated in private gardens just a 15 minute walk from the south bank of the Douro river (and even closer to a number of the major port lodges such as Taylors and Fonseca). The large enclosed gardens, secluded pool area and long driveway create a sense of sanctuary, despite the proximity to the busy riverbank strip and the hustle & bustle outside the hotel complex walls. *There are also small supermarkets just several minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was large, clean and contemporary with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom and private balcony with some views of the city. The breakfast is fabulous, offering a sumptuous buffet whilst still providing for eggs, coffees and extras to your personal taste. The staff are the best feature of this hotel. The reception team are friendly and attentive, offering complimentary port wine on arrival. The guest services team are outstanding, with the consultants providing helpful and accurate information on options for dining-out and activities in the city and along the Douro Valley into the wine regions. We had a rental car for the duration of our stay and there is plenty of secure underground parking available. A tip for drivers: there are two Rua Teixeira Lopes in Porto. Make sure you navigate to the address in Vila Nova de Gaia and don’t end up across the river in Valbom. Our rental car’s satnav didn’t offer the R Teixeira Lopes in Vila Nova de Gaia, so we resolved this by navigating to nearby Rua da Misericordia.

The hotel itself is good. Room was nice all the facilities you expect we were upgraded to master suite which was a lovely room. Breakfast lots of options but staff were sometimes around to seat us sometimes not. Coffee and tea sometimes asked, sometimes not and sometimes we went without. One day we came down for breakfast a bit later but still prompt at 9am and all hot options were gone. A menu was offered but we do like to pick our own. Bar has little life or soul to it. Biggest disappointment here was the pool. It is a lovely pool but a day after we arrived it was shut for remainder of the trip and my 5 year old was devastated. It was key reason we booked Hotel which was sometime in advance. The hotels distance from Porto and Gaia is understated really. It’s about a 25 minute walk to Gaia front or 35/40 mins to Porto. When we booked we did know this and we are fit people who usually enjoy a walk and thought little of it. But in reality this walk is incredibly steep and up hill on quiet roads especially at night. We did it most times and I carried my child but it did impact our trip as if your are a family you will need to be prepared for a big walk at end of long day or to rely on taxis. Please don’t ignore this if booking as family the walk up is challenging if you are not fit and active. Porto is naturally hilly so after a day out it is a very tiring add on to your day. I was so surprised hotel did not run an hourly shuttle bus or something we would have happily paid a fee for it. Hotel was so quiet maybe this would attract more people to the hotel. The lady who checked us in was fab and friendly throughout and shone from her peers. The review seems a bit harsh and it maybe over critical but we stay regular at 5 star places over the world with our child and this hotel does lack the touches and is prob best catered to conferences than families especially due to location.

I stayed two days and was very pleased with the beautiful large room. There were two very comfortable twin beds, small table with two chairs near the balcony overlooking the garden and a vanity with large mirror and chair. The bathroom was very large, toilet next to a great walking shower with two shower heads and two grab bars so that it was very easy to use. The a/c was excellent. The hop on hop off bus is a short walk away, Lidl market is a short walk away.By all meaning all the staff was amazing and as for everyone the cost was very reasonably priced.,I will definitely return. The receptionist gave many helpful tips I am so glad to be there and enjoy the out door pool and indoor pool where was the spa I would like to mention Fábia from the outdoor staff. He is a supervisor of everything there and the receptionist Martina was very knowledgeable and helpful

Upon check-in we were warmly welcomed by Maria, who was very attentive and offered us an upgrade, and by Vitor, who offered us a taste of the reserve "Boeira" wine. Even at the end of the afternoon, we made some requests to these two young people, and they provided what we requested very quickly and with great attention. The pool was empty, which made it possible to make the most of it, as well as the rest of the spa facilities (Turkish bath, sauna)... Everything was well looked after. 😊 The next day we were welcomed for breakfast by Sara and Flávia. They were always on top of the event, and we were very welcome in the service and in explaining the breakfast. This not only with us, but with the tables next to us (it was noticeable). The restaurant is beautiful, and they had a great variety on the buffet. Everything was delicious, just at the right point. Also at reception, I would like to mention LuÃs, who checked us out quickly and accurately. Very attentive, as were all the colleagues mentioned above. I feel sorry for having only spent one night at this hotel, but I guarantee that I will return, because despite only having contact with these gentlemen and maidens, I am sure that the rest of the team stands out. I congratulate all of them without exception. Once again, a big thank you for providing me with an excellent stay.

Whether your trip is for business or pleasure, the Boeira Garden isa perfect choice. Beautifully designed, furnished and staffed, the property is remarkably quiet while only a few minutes from the lively Vila Nova de Gaia waterfront or downtown Porto.
Breakfast service is excellent, the rooms spacious, the beds perfect and the amenities on par with any luxury hotel ... and secure garage parking is available on-site for no extra charge.
A lovely, contemporary hotel in a parklike historic estate setting.

We stayed for 5 fabulous days in this new Hilton hotel. We received a friendly and professional welcome in a truly impressive setting. The attention to detail, the design of the hotel, the location in a large park in the heart of Vila Gaia and the services make this hotel one of the best Hiltons we have frequented. Large and comfortable rooms, fully equipped with comfortable beds and a truly impeccable housekeeping service. Very varied and quality breakfast. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool (seasonal) and convenient free underground parking. All this made our days in magical Porto unforgettable

Dear Danielle777,
yes, the outdoor pool is open and we are happy to say sunny weather is on our side.
If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
Best regards,

The other thing I would mention is that although they did not have an executive lounge, the hotel staff went out of their way to provide sightseeing advice and assistance. The hotel is well-situated away from the hustle-and-bustle and noise of Porto, yet 15 mins beautiful &
Peaceful walk away. Also less than 10
Mins walk to grocery stores and shopping mall - and 5-10 mins walk from the Port Wineries and tours, which we did (Taylor’s Winery) - and the hotel staff gave us lots of good recommendations
There are more places to choose from in the Vila Nova de Gaia area.
