Chose this hotel because it appeared to be in a quiet area and it was. Short taxi ride to the river and the port wine cellars. Very clean. Room was spacious and well appointed. We actually upgraded to a privilege room and fully recommend it. The buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful and served between 6.30 and 11 am. The...

Nice clean hotel, good quality spacious room. Staff very helpful, all spoke good English. Ideally located with a Holmes Place health club next door, and a large shopping mall with numerous restaurants less than 400 yards from the entrance.

We stayed in the Hotel for 5 nights. Very happy with our room. Quiet and has somewhat of a nice view, you can see part of the Rio Douro from our window. There are no balconies. This hotel is very well located in Gaia, very closed to Ponte da Arrabida which gives access to Porto center town and all other directions. The hotel is nice, and you can find everything around the hotel such as a hospital, a shopping center, pharmacy, etc.

Hotel is located just beside a nice shopping center, lots of parking places in front of hotel but if you prefer there is also a private hotel parking available. The check-in was very fast and we were warmly welcomed, the privilege room was nice, clean, and we could see the river and a bit of the sea from our window....

Room average with poor view. The hot breakfast looked bad and so had to go continental. Didn't eat in the hotel, other than breakfast, so can't comment, but overall it's clean, albeit a bit uninspiring. The room had a mini bar, but limited choice. The shower was a shower head off the taps and fairly low pressure. All clean, but...
