We booked a double room for 45 euro per night. The hotel is clean and typical Spanish style. The host Charo is absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the town and its history. There is wifi available in the room and it is superfast. The location is great.

Having frequently visited Frigiliana during previous holidays and had drinks at Caravansar in the beautiful square in front of the Church we had always wanted to return and stay for lunch. What a disappointment! I ordered tuna and prawn salad thinking it would be cold - however, the prawns and tuna were hot and despite my not liking hot tuna,... More

My wife and I stayed at Hosepderia el Caravansar for 1 night on 4th March. Whilst the facilities are basic it is comfortable and good value for money. We also found the location ideal for visiting Frigiliana with on street parking directly outside the hotel. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in our room and a better breakfast menu... To be honest I wasn't expecting much as it was classed a a B&B , WOW was I wrong. This place is so beautiful and quaint, spotlessly clean and such a warm welcome that I wish I was staying for longer. It has air conditioning, wifi free. Next time I return to this area I will definitely book to stay... More

The location of this rustic hospederia is perfect. Despite it having no star ratings it is a fabulous little find. Complete with air con in the rooms, which is a must when it is registering 43 centigrade outside! I loved the decor and especially the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom! Our hosts were lovely - very unobtrusive. There is... More

I stayed 3 nights in the Habitacíon Frigiliana. Very clean, cosy and nice terrace with a beautiful view. Felt at home. The hospederia is situated in one of the main roads in the village. I am a light sleeper but it was not a problem at all - very little traffic. If I ever come back to Frigiliana I will... More

We stayed at the hospederia for one night before walking the Liman trail (which was wonderful). The hostel is clean, tidy, and the rooms though small are nicely but simply decorated. The staff are friendly too, though we had little contact with them given the absence of breakfast (see below). Our double bed however was very small and really uncomfortable,... More

I'd stayed here before, two years ago, during an unusual "cold snap". As before, I was impressed with the cleanliness and local character of my compact single room. This time, as the weather was much warmer, I was very comfortable in my room at night. So I was happy and have awarded 5 stars this time. I paid 31 euros... More

Rosario and Baldomero were the perfect hosts. My Spanish was very poor and their English was limited but we managed to communicate and they kindly supplied a thermos of hot water upon request. Breakfast was minimal but included in the reasonable room rate and served in the outside courtyard. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a balcony with a... More

Stayed here for one night in February 2012. Walked in from the Nerja Cave and walked out to Competa the next day. Had a small room with a single bed, but that was fine for me. Room was rather cold at night; however, the weather was unusual at this period. Breakfast was very functional (coffee + toast + jam +... More
