We stayed 6 nights at Hotel Nueve Leyendas while visiting Ùbeda and Baeza. Begoña and Pedro were kind and friendly hosts. Our room, 101, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with double washbasins and a double bed perfect for tall people! The location of the hotel could not have been better, perfect for seeing all the sights on foot. There are some free parking spaces outside the hotel, otherwise there is free parking about 5 or 6 minutes walk away. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are visitIng Ùbeda.
If you want a modern box don't stay here! Actually has most of the things you would want in a rather flamboyant retro style. Only has a few rooms and the owners are really friendly and helpful. The lady speaks quite good English but you really need some Spanish with her husband. Breakfast was adequate but I would perhaps eat at one of the many restaurants nearby in the future. The room was well big enough, spotless and mostly well appointed. The fridge didn't work very well and a couple of suitcase stands would be nice but generally good value overall.
This hotel is very centrally located in a beautiful old building. It's rather quirkily decorated, clean and welcoming. The hosts are friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that we asked for cava for my parents as it was my Dad's birthday and the fridge in the room wasn't working - despite telling the owner - she assured me it was working but it definitely wasn't. Also I thought that charging €22 for a bottle of cava was a bit mean (when we paid €12 for the same stuff the night before in a different hotel....) but, apart from that, we enjoyed our stay. . We didn't have breakfast there as there are so many places within a stones throw.
The hotel was in line with the historic village with old stone houses and other sights. Owners were trying their best to make our stay comfortable and we had a big room with nice decoration (big old style bed, paintings on walls etc.).
We spent a couple of days visiting Ubeda and Baeza and decided to stay in this hotel. Both cities are Unesco heritage. The hotel is an old Castilian house -probably around 17/18th century- transformed into a hotel. It is a very nice place to stay. The owners host us very warmly, giving us a lot of help with good recommendations. Definitely a place interesting to stay if you are in the area.
