Hi - there are a few 'beaches' in Cala Bona but they're not great. There is some scrubland about 5 mins away, and a series of three man made coves with a mixture of sand, concrete and cigarette butts about 10 mins the other side of the harbour (which is lovely btw) . Cala Millor beach is about 20 mins along a seaside promenade filled with shops, bars etc and is large but busy. You can get the local bus all the way along the coast Cala Millor (10 mins by bus), S'Iliot Sa Coma and Porto Cristo all of which have lovely sandy beaches. They even have an open top bus on the standard route(€1.85?) which our little one loved. The Bonaire complex itself was great for young families and we enjoyed just being round the complex and the harbour over the road. You'll love it!
