I cannot say enough positive things about this Inn. Beautiful grounds and rooms. The innkeeper was extremely hospitable and made us a spectacular breakfast. I found it very cool that the breakfast was based on an 1800's inspired menu. A ton of history there. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn at the Crossroads. The property dates from 1820, and has seen the presence of at least 4 presidents. The furnishings are period appropriate, and it exudes an overall charm. Set in the beautiful countryside, the Inn is about 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville, and next door to the Pippin Hill Winery where...

Conveniently located south of Charlottesville just off Rt. 29. the Inn offers historic charm, quiet rooms, and a great breakfast. Innkeepers Jim and Janet are gracious hosts. What's not to like about a small, quaint inn dressed in period decor yet stylishly comfortable with a ton of American history attached to it. Doesn't hurt that there is a beautiful winery within walking distance, a fabulous gourmet pizza place and restaurant across the road and a plethora of activities close by. Located just off 29, yet tucked away...

Thank you for such a thoughtful, detailed and positive review! We loved having you and your family, new and old, stay with us. Your husband, your daughter, your parents and the entire wedding party were all delightful. My wife and I stayed here while touring the wineries around Charlottesville for the first time; we had a blast. The location is quiet, scenic, and accessible. Jim is a pleasant host full of great recommendations and descriptions of the area's attractions; he also has a nearly endless supply of stories and anecdotes befitting an historic landmark.
