The hotel is actually a beautiful old building, but it is spoiled by the approach of the proprietor, who did his best to ignore us throughout our 2 night stay. He did not say hello or introduce himself when we arrived; we thought he was another guest for quite a while. He did not look up from his desk when...

We used Can Reus as our base for a week's walking around the village of Fornalutx during the fist week of March. We chose Can Reus partly because its web site had a nine suggested walks from the hotel and we used seven of these during our stay. The Hotel is small, basic and clean with friendly helpful staff who...

We had stayed in Fornalutx in August 2014 and seen this B & B whilst wandering around the village and thought it looked a lovely place to stay. We were not disappointed, there was a warm welcome from Adrianna and we were shown to our room, nicely furnished with antiques. Breakfasts were excellent and we ate outside on the terrace...

The mountain views from several areas of this hotel are very nice. The breakfasts were acceptable. But, just about everything else was marginal. No one was at the hotel upon our arrival and we were locked out. After making a phone call we were given the code to enter and then went to what we thought were our assigned rooms....

Waking up at C'an Reus Hotel to the smell of freshly cooked daily delights and stepping out into the most stunning scenery to sit on a sun filled veranda is as good as it gets. Greeted by the lovely Adrianna and Nicoletta with freshly squeezed orange juice and brewed coffee and a banquet of freshness and culinary creativity fit for...

Ca'n Reus is a beautiful building with a lovely garden. The breakfasts were superb and the staff friendly and efficient. But despite its website stating that children under five were not permitted, in our short stay there were at least four little ones there, and the garden and pool really are too small to be comfortably shared with toddlers.

From the outside, this hotel has all that you want. It had a stunning view of the mountains, a neat little pool and a wonderful terrace. But, however, I was bummed to find that the outside was about all that was nice about this place. I was given the basement room, which made me feel like I was being placed...

This was our fourth visit to Ca'n Reus and the experience was as enjoyable as ever. It is a delightful informal hotel in a magical location. Having breakfast on the terrace with wonderful views and delicious food is one of life's great pleasures! We've always enjoyed meeting other guests at Ca'n Reus in the informal and intimate atmosphere that Sue...

This place is just gorgeous. Fornalutx is beautiful in an entirely traditional and unsullied way - narrow stepped streets, a little square with cafes (and occasional terrible bands), an excellent variety of restaurants and all surrounded by the imposing and dramatic Serra de Tramuntana. The changing colours on the cliffs at sunset are sublime. The Ca'n Reus is a quaint...
