The rooms are small but functional and clean, twin beds mostly. The bathrooms have gel and a hairdryer and come with a shower or a bath/shower. Rooms have lots of plug sockets and a tv, hanging rail and small balcony (either overlooking street with a distant sea view or overlooking pool).
However the beds were too hard for us and this impacted on sleep quality, we have stayed twice and hadn't noticed this previously. It may affect our choice of where to stay next year.
The hotel has a quirky style, it has a basic weights gym, book exchange, bar etc. The swimming pool area is great, plenty of beds and umbrellas.
The brunch from 8-1.30 is the most fantastic feature and this is what makes the hotel - as well as it being in a great location in Palma Nova. Easy to access everything and 5 mins from the beach (if that).
For evenings you can order 'just eat' and dine downstairs at one of the tables. The 'Tent' app helps with this. But there are so many good local restaurants why would you?
You can also get a kettle or iron from reception for a deposit (which is refundable). Vending machines have drinks and sandwiches etc if you need something later in the day.
There is a secure room to put your cases if you need to store them on travel days.
Staff are great and really helpful.

Based on the reviews, I wasnt expecting too much, but overall I must say I was satisfied with the hotel for the price I paid.
The hotel seems to strike a perfect balance of getting the essentials right and cutting out the extra flourishes that push the cost up.
Room is small but I found the beds very comfotable and didnt have an issue with the open storage, but then i was travelling solo to be fair.
Good shower with great water pressure (My shower at home feels feable after 2 weeks of using the Tents shower) and also consistant HOT WATER everyday thats is warm very soon...Great!!!
Balcony very basic but did the job. Hairdryer okay, fixed on the wall and you to keep it de-pressed to work.
Liked the virtual room key to access the room via the app, All I had to do was take out was my phone (paid for everything via currency card through Apple wallet)
The thin walls/room noice I was expecting was an none issue. Didnt strike me as being anymore noisy then any other hotel I stayed in.
Wasn't initially bowled over by the buffet breakfast/brunch. Scrambled eggs are the thin type and the sausages alternated between grey one day and well cooked (brown) the next day. And dont start me on the free coffee...awful stuff..
So eat out for breakfast for the first few days and then gave it a chance again and managed to cobble togther a few breakfast items that were okay,
The natural yoghurt with seeds/nuts and honey you could add to wasn't bad at all and even got used to the scrambled eggs (hash browwns were quite good)
I then used to take some croissants, spread some honey on them and warm them up in the microwave to have with proper coffee at the drinks hatch near the reception. Coffee only cost 2 euros so worth it in my book and much better then the free stuff.
Pool layout is quite nice but the pebble dash surface isnt the nicest looking and is obviously one of the areas they compromise on to cut costs.
Used the laundry attached to the hotel - 3 euros to wash and 4 euros to dry, all very good and easy to use and great value.
So all round very little to fault, I enjoyed my stay ( Room 331)

Arrived early hours of the morning self check in was easy enough to use , requested a high floor but was given a room on the 1st floor no big issue . Room was modern , clean , good air con , plenty of hanging space and hangers but no drawer space didn’t matter to us as only staying for 4 nights . Brunch the next morning served its purpose not the best breakfast I’ve had but certainly not the worst plenty to chose from and tasty enough . Lots of sunbeds round the pool and drinks were reasonably priced . I travelled with my 19 year old daughter and the location was perfect always felt safe walking home late at night . I would definitely stay here again but next time request to have a room away from the lift and staircase as our room was directly opposite both and was often very noisy in the early hours .

Great location rooms are small no draws erc for your clothes just 1 small hanging rail maid service each day although didnt change the sheets our whole stay, good choice of food 8.30 till 1.30 brunch brilliant idea not all about a cooked breakfast, pastries toasties can even make salads, now the staff,, cleanung ladies greeted us every morning (always tip them) the tall barman great very chatty always saying hello, in the dining room the staff dont speak to you? Reception cant be bothered with you especially the young 1 with glasses we booked in after being delayed, & put on the wrong bus, very hot day gave us the room number couldn.t go to the room till 3 so ok we.ll have lunch no!! He wouldn.t let us go in the dining room!! We.d paid for this service but couldn.t use it so had to store luggage & go out to eat this shoiuld not be allowed to happen if brunch is still going on. My advice if you check in just go eat, p.s the rooms could do with a broom being left on the balcony so you can sweep the room if you want to,, also tourist tax had to pay £38.20 seems who ever you get the amount varies???

Arrived at Tent on Sunday with my sister. From the minute we arrived we were impressed. Staff are so lovely, the place is immaculately clean, the beds are really comfy. Air conditioning is great. Literally can't find a single fault. The brunch is amazing. Lots of variety, cooked breakfast, cereals, fruits, pastries, yoghurt, breads, you name it, something for everyone. The pool area is so clean and enough sun loungers for everyone and lots of lovely comfy seating inside if you want a break from the sun. The drinks at the bar are reasonably priced too and there are vending machines with everything you can think of in from food to a toothbrush if you've forgotten yours. There is secure luggage storage if you arrive earlier than check in or leave after check out, there are showers and facilities to use during those times also. We really can't wait to come back again and will definitely be staying at Tent again! Thank you all. We don't want to leave today xx

Would 100% recommend staying here! It's a great location, only a very short walk to the beach but not on the main beach front which is great because it minimises noise from outside at night. There are plenty of sun loungers and the pool is very good, it's 3m at its deepest point which is exceptional for a hotel pool. Breakfast is also really nice and a huge pro that it closes at 1pm so you can get both breakfast and lunch there, as there is no restriction on the number of times you can visit the buffet. Rooms are on the smaller side but still very nice and clean. My only critique is that the walls are very thin so we could hear people walking in the hallway from our room and also could hear noise from the room next door. But considering the price point of the hotel and the good quality of everything else, this issue wasn't big enough to even deduct a star.

We found this hotel to have everything that we needed for a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The staff were all so helpful. I had to ask for help with a few things at the reception and they were more than happy to help and issues were dealt with very quickly. One of the members of staff even noticed it was my birthday and was so kind and enthusiastic in wishing me a good day. The pool area is really nice and generally quiet and relaxed, with bean bags, showers and bar. We couldn’t fault it. The hotel staff make sure all areas of the hotel are clean, especially in the restaurant area, where they are continually cleaning up and replenishing food. The brunch is excellent and we loved being able to use it when we wished until 1:30. The rooms are small and sometimes noise can be heard, but this really didn’t detract from our enjoyment of our stay here. They are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The internet connection was always good and the smart TV was useful when we were tired. I wish there had been a fridge in the room to store my medication in and more storage space would have been a bonus, but these were small issues for us. We really did have the best time at the hotel and would definitely return.

We changed our air bnb for this gorgeous hotel, from the minute we arrived everything ran seamlessly, the staff are all incredibly helpful and recommend places to go and to eat. The hotel is absolutely spotless the rooms are beautiful and beds nice and comfortable, we opted for the city view room which was cheaper than the others and still had a good view and could see the sea. Very powerful hairdryer in the bath room an large mirror, deep bath and powerful shower. The tent hotels include a unlimited buffet brunch from 8am till 1:30pm which is included we found this amazing for the price we paid. They have bar, laundry, gym, vending and pool facilities all again spotless, check out is 12pm perfect for us so we could set ourselves up for the day. We spoke to the manager and she told us we could use the facilities untill the time we had to leave for the air port. There is luggage storage and showers that you can use to freshen up before you head home. We have had the most amazing time and cant thank the staff and manager enough for making our stay incredibly they need an extra star on the hotel they deserve it so much. We are here at the moment leaving tomorrow and thought we would put a review on. Our opinion of these apartments is the rooms are clean a little small but you only sleep wash and dress in them the shower is a walk in one and pretty powerful. Tv has quite a lot of English channels if you like to spend your holiday watching tv. Brunch really good choice full English to continental then around 11ish burgers hot dogs pizza chips for lunch. Pool very clean plenty of sun loungers only thing I would say it lacks is a little background music. Staff really friendly and helpful, Location perfect for the beach, bar’s,restaurant and shops all literally 2 min walk 5 at the most. Buses just round the corner taking you to palma €4.50 Santa ponsa €3.50 Also bus to airport not sure on price. Walking distance to Magaluf you can also jump on the bus if you have waking difficulties. All in all we would say that the Tent apartments were perfect for our needs and will definitely return. Check in although late was no issue and helped by staff on what appears to be a new self service system. We got a drink at the bar then headed up to our room. Room was small but it was never our intention to spend much time in there. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast/Brunch had an assortment that suited us, cooked selection, cold selection and cereals. Pool area clean, didn't need to fight for a sun lounger. Staff were eager to keep the dining area and pool area clean from glasses, mugs etc. Never had an issue with staff and found them very helpful when required. Only negative points were - breakfast could have been better with good bacon and the room should have coffee/tea making facilities. We stayed for 4 days and the sunshine let us down on two of them. Plenty of places to go for a drink and food. We will return to Tent Palmanova.
