Stayed here with 3 friends for a long weekend. We had two 3 bed apartments with 2 persons in each - 2 single beds and a sofa bed. Sofa bed was large and suitable for an adult. Room, bathroom and balcony all a decent size and very clean. Basic kitchen facility with kettle, toaster, pans etc. and 2 ring hob....

We stayed here over Easter and had a fabulous holiday. As well seasoned travellers, always booking carefully but with no preconceptions as such, we have to admit that this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in a Spanish resort. Cleaned daily and with superb views, our room adequately suited us - 2 adults and 3 children. The...

Stayed here as part of the Stephen Roche Cycling camp and was very impressed. Lovely big room, really clean, great views, amazing food (cycled around 20 hours over the week and still put on weight), lovely staff.

Stayed here as part of the Stephen Roche training camp (which is based at this hotel). Good hotel with nice rooms that is currently stuck in the 90's. However after closing its doors for winter in 2014 it has now finally entered a renovation phase, with rooms being updated. The pool area was gutted and updated for the 2014 season...

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Ponent Mar hotel and I can honestly say it must have been built in the 1960's because there is has remained, it is tired and old and in desperate need of modernizing. First of all we where greeted by a man on reception whose words where "name.....passports", no hello welcome to...

First time at the Ponent Mar-we will go back!! Here are some of the reasons; First the location-sitting on a headland with the large pool area looking out to sea through a glass screen. The hotel is close to the town but far enough to be quiet with plenty of sun loungers-no need to book with towels! Towels are available...

We travelled and stayed at the Ponent Mar 21 - 28th August. What a great find and such a beautiful location. We had 2 children aged 8 years and I must say they had a fantastic time with the girls who provided the games etc for the kids (spoon diving and water polo a favourite). Location was great and within...

Booked through Alpharooms, paid £704 for 4 persons 1 bed apartment, when we arrived we were on floor 3, dark and dingy corridors, and room had a musty smell... After having meal out, came back on first night and smell was worse, and when getting into bed all of us said they feel damp, worst nights sleep, I even sprayed...

8 of us booked to stay at the Ponent Mar - all girls - for a hen party. We didn't to stay anywhere noisy and this looked ideal from the reviews and website information. Upon arrival we were delighted to see that it was an atrractive hotel with a security barrier, and the entrance area was lovely with fountains and...
