Zafiro Palmanova draws mixed reviews on value for money, with its pristine cleanliness often lauded by guests. The hotel's array of amenities, including diverse pools and child-friendly options, are generally appreciated, although some find the pools chilly and evening shows repetitive. Noise is a concern for many travelers, stemming from various sources that may disrupt the stay. The service, however, often earns high praise for its attentiveness, despite occasional lapses. While the atmosphere buzzes with lively entertainment, some guests find it intrusive. Room experiences vary, with complaints about soundproofing and maintenance, yet the location remains a highlight for its proximity to local attractions.

Beautiful hotel, well situated just a short walk from the beach and clean throughout. Not to close to magaluf but only a walk down the road to experience the variety of bars etc... there also. Receptionist was very friendly and even spent time speaking with my son in spanish who is learning but not the greatest. We booked as two seperate partys and requested rooms close to one another and a room within close proximity as a member of our party was 7 months pregnant which they did not fail to provide. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even leaving a gift for one of the kids birthdays which was a lovely surprise. Entertainment was great not just usual singing as they had bubble shows, acrobatics, magic and plenty more which were great for all ages. I read many comments beforehand about the pools being cold which i was worried about however it wasn't as bad as I thought. We all spent plenty of time in the main pool with the bubble and welcomed the coolness in the heat. They did have the kids pool with slides and others that were heated. Plenty of sunbeds and daybeds available everyday, no matter what time we got there we were always able to find enough for our group of 7. We are already planning our next trip and will be back again soon! Thankyou again.

So we have just returned home from 10 days at Zafiro Palmanova, we had an amazing time and glad we didn’t move hotels when we got the email to say there was building works as we didnt see or hear a thing! Don’t let that put you off at all. On arrival around 12.30pm we were greeted by the lovely reception staff who told us everything we needed to know and gave us our towels and wristbands and allowed us to use the luggage room as our room wasn’t ready until 3pm. Off we went to explore and had lunch and then returned to reception at 3 to get our room key, the room was lovely and cool and not a bad size for 2 adults and 2 children 16 & 12. We had a pool room and the view was fab and a lovely balcony too. The bed in the main bedroom was so comfy one of the best I have slept in at a hotel, the pull out bed was ok but nothing amazing.
There is a fridge and a small freezer compartment and kettle etc and the bathroom is big with a big shower. The pools are fab and the bouncy bubble was great fun we didnt use the other pools so unable to comment on those. There was aqua aerobics and water polo and a huge mat to run across the pool on and a large zorb ball each day. The lifeguards were out at 8am and 9am putting notices on beds that had been reserved and kept the 40min rule going, we never struggled to reserve a bed and always got our fave spot apart from one day!
Food in the restaurant was brilliant and always something different, the mexican night was fantastic, we ate once at the other part of the restaurant and ordered off the menu (one visit per week is included with all inc.) the steak was delish and we all enjoyed it. We didnt use the menu for lunches as there was plenty on the buffet. Shout out to Jeanette who greeted us every day with a smile in the buffet restaurant, all the staff are a credit to the hotel and couldnt do enough for us. The entertainment at night started at 8 with the kids dances and then 8.30-9 dancing with Yzzy the mascot then at 9pm was bingo or an act and then to finish at 10 with Kahoot quiz which you all join in on your phone and the winner gets a bottle of wine etc. The only issue we had was that by 10.15-10.30 the entertainment had finished and the bar was open until 12 but no music so if you are up for a bit of a party you have to go out to explore really. I wouldnt use the shop thats attached to the hotel as its really expensive, a short walk to the right of the hotel and there are lots of shops that are lower in price for inflatables, bags and suncreams etc.
The beach is just down a few flights of stairs and is lovely with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.
Overall we had an excellent time and would recommend for younger kids as its more geared up towards them but it was a great holiday and would return!

Dear Sammy, It is a genuine pleasure to read that Zafiro Palmanova lived up to your expectations. We are delighted to hear that your stay with us was so enjoyable and met your expectations. We are thrilled that the warm welcome from our reception staff set a positive tone for your stay, and it's wonderful to know that the comfort of our rooms, the stunning pool views, and the variety of facilities provided memorable moments for your family. The satisfaction you found in the diverse and delicious options at our restaurant, as well as the daily entertainment, is truly gratifying for us to hear. However, we regret that the atmosphere post-entertainment did not align with your expectations for a livelier nightlife within the hotel. We understand the importance of winding down the day with leisure, and while we strive to cater to all our guests, including families with young children, we acknowledge your preference for continued evening activities. Moreover, we take note of your comments regarding the pricing at the shop connected to our hotel and appreciate your feedback for more cost-effective shopping options nearby. Nonetheless, the comfort of your bed and the joy you experienced at the beach, easily accessible from our hotel, are highlights we are particularly proud of. We aim to ensure that all our guests, regardless of age, have a delightful and comfortable stay with us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you and your family back for another wonderful holiday. Best wishes, We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again very soon. Best wishes, Marco Heitinga Zafiro Palmanova, General Manager

This was our second visit to this hotel after our first visit in August 2022.

Generally we had a wonderful time and I DO recommend this hotel. We were happy with our stay overall.

On both occasions we paid extra for a pool view room and I do recommend this if you have the budget because otherwise you are facing outwards and you could be looking onto the road or a car park.

The beach and shops are very close and a taxi to Palma will take about 20 minutes and I think cost about 25 euros.

We thought the food was better in August 2022. Generally speaking the dining room is not a particularly relaxing experience, it’s a very family friendly hotel and we also have children but there was a regular clattering of cutlery falling to the tiled floor and there was often food spilt on the floor which wasn’t cleaned up as quickly as it should be. At peak times the buffet area gets very busy.

We were all inclusive both years and the selection of drinks available is great.

On arrival the sofa bed was not made up at all as a bed and we had to phone to ask for this to be done. The booking was made for a family of four months in advance so the sofa bed should have been made up in advance of us arriving, as it was last year.

On one occasion I went from the pool area into the bar without my t shirt on, it was so hot, the lady at the bar told me I must wear my top which I said was fine and then again said “next time with the top” which I said of course no problem, however once was enough, I am not a child. However there is no sign whatsoever asking men to wear a top and throughout the week there were men at the inside bar getting a drink without a top on so if Zafiro are going to have a rule you should have a sign to say so and also be consistent, not say to one customer you must wear a top but not say it to anyone else all week.

Parents with young children should note that the hotel playground is easily accessed from the hotel car park which in turn is easily accessed from the public road. I would personally not recommend this playground for younger children unless supervised at all times.

The swimming pool is excellent for all ages.

The evening entertainment was more or less exactly the same as last year and some of the acts are quite similar. In my opinion the evening entertainment is more suited to children and teenagers.

My family spent 10 days during the summer holidays at zafiro palmanova (kids aged 8 & 7) overall we had a brilliant stay.
Check in was exceptional service, we arrived just gone 9pm and although the restaurant was closing, the lady rang straight down and asked they remain open for another family. We were not expecting this but were so thankful and got us off to a great start.
The pool is amazing, we just loved the fact that it was 1 metre deep throughout the entire pool which made it so safe for the kids! Plus it meant they were allowed inflatables. The bouncy thingy is a huge hit with all kids. On 1 day during our visit it unfortunately broke but within 24 hours they had it fixed, great service!
The room was fine, nothing more, nothing less. We were allocated a room on top floor and they offered us to pay £500 to get the key to the upstairs terrace area. Personally we didn’t think this was worth it for our family but part of me did think how silly that they didn’t just give the key anyway, it’s not like they were going to sell it to any other family and would have been no detriment to the hotel or staff.
The food we did not think was great at all. The selection was fine but quality was sub standard. Some days alright, others not at all so we ate out multiple times during our stay.
The entertainment was also the other area in which I felt was lacking for a 4 star. Some of the ‘shows’ were really poor. The quiz afterwards is pretty fun to join in with though.
As for the day time entertainment, it’s alright but could do so much more. No pool parties, no foam parties, no group games/activities for kids bar a blue bridge thing they throw over the pool every couple of days. Overall just not 4 star entertainment at all.
All staff members are lovely, 5 stars for the staff!
The location of the hotel is good though, just 10 or 15 minutes walk to the main areas, lots of restaurants and bars around and close to the beach.
Thank you zafiro Palmanova for a fantastic holiday, with a few improvements this really could be a 5 star experience but we still had a wonderful time anyway

The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, the waiters in the restaurant and bars are smart and quick:) Very tasty cocktails at the bar, strong coffee available with every meal:) There are several swimming pools, so you can also swim leisurely because the largest pool is aimed more at children. Unfortunately, the guests are from dawn. They reserved sunbeds, but we always had our own place.
Spacious room with a large swimming pool. Please note that in the bathroom there is only soap and universal washing gel: it is better to take your own cosmetics and accessories.
The food is delicious and fresh, the restaurant is large, so you don't feel the crowds: rather few people in the first minutes of opening. The waiters handle the drinks efficiently :)

Fantastic hotel! From the very beginning to the very end the stay was great, nothing to complain about. 1. Large, comfortable rooms that can easily accommodate a family of 4, comfortable large beds, even the extra beds were very comfortable, good pillows, rooms cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Pool towels can also be replaced twice during your stay. The service is discreet, unobtrusive, and at the same time very friendly and works very hard to ensure that no one misses anything. Despite many guests, we never had to wait for a table, the restaurant was clean and regularly cleaned, the food was amazing, we had the opportunity to try dishes from the a la carte restaurant once a week, but there was no need to do so, the food from the "buffet" was delicious . High-quality alcoholic beverages, bottled wine (not from a pourer), bottled or draft beer. The swimming pool is great for children, not too deep, clean, the lifeguards also work hard and well, so you can have a drink and let the kids have fun for a while. It's safe everywhere. Animations for children. Close to the beach. A great holiday, but probably for families with children - if someone goes without them, the children's noises would be bothersome. we will definitely go back there again.

Our summer vacation in September 2023 was a very, very nice one in this hotel. Although a lot of English is spoken, communication still worked without any problems.
The pools are big enough, the sea is just around the corner and you can shop right on the promenade in front of the sandy beach.
Magaluf is a kind of English Ballernmann, but you don't notice any of that in and around the hotel. If you want to go out partying in the evening, you can also get there in a few minutes.
The hotel is relatively large with lots of entertainment for children and adults. The animation team is not pushy at all, so if you don't feel like it, you don't have to join in. In the evenings there is usually a show to see, which usually ends at 10:20 p.m. So if you have a room facing the pool, you can still sleep very well. We didn't have a room facing the pool, but were very surprised when we could see the sea from our room.
We thought long and hard about whether to get a room with pool access, then decided against it and didn't regret it. The pools in the rooms were (felt) colder than the large pool.
The buffet was sufficient and was constantly refilled, drinks at the table were quickly taken and the plates were also quickly cleared away. The service in the hotel is great!
We had a great holiday and can recommend the hotel without hesitation for its value for money.

We spent a week all inclusive at the end of August with two kids (3,7). The staff are an asset to Zafiro, mostly smiling & friendly. The place is clean. The canteen staff are efficient, with drinks ordered at the table. Even with babies dropping food everywhere, rogue kids dropping plates and generally serving themselves chaotically, the diligent cleaners went round with unfaltering cheerfulness.

There are queues at the buffet for certain foods, mainly the rice, chips & mash, but not usually for the live cooking stations other than the pancakes at breakfast. The food isn’t bad for a buffet. It is bland to cater to the masses. I had an upset tummy but I did eat a lot of the seafood. The rest of the family were fine. The AI drinks menu has a great selection. The option for à la carte dining during lunch provided a welcomed respite.

The pools are great for kids, with the main pool being 1m in depth. The presence of the lifeguards was reassuring - they were very enthusiastic about removing stray toys & drinks. The pools are cold, even in the heat of the summer. The only heated pool is the adult pool. The sun beds do get reserved, but not with the enthusiasm worthy of multiple Daily Mail articles. There was a sun bed if you turned up in the afternoon.

The entertainment staff are lovely. There wasn’t much to tempt my kids, who were happy in the pool. Despite this, I still managed to get that mascot marsupial’s theme tune stuck in my head for a few days. The shows in the evening were so-so but much enjoyed by the kids. The magic show by Andrely was probably the best of the lot.

The rooms are not sound proof, so I’m not sure how the guests facing the stage managed an early night. For a child friendly hotel, it was unusual that the bathroom did not have a bath. All in all, the kids had a great time.

This is the 2nd time we visited this hotel as our first time in 2022 was a really good positive experience however this time it was not, the actual area and location of this hotel is fantastic and can not be faulted all the restaurants in the local area are lovely and a really good vibe but the hotel itself has gone down hill
Firstly the swimming pool was filthy and it wasn’t just from suncream which they said it was there were dirty plasters, bugs, leaves, 🍃 plastic straws from people bringing there own items in from the shop and dirty glasses all floating around, The pool was not cleaned regularly, we spent 2 days at the pool and decided to go to the beach everyday after that.
Second - our door on our room was faulty and had to be slammed to be shut properly which we stated to the staff but one of the days the cleaner went in and cleaned and when we returned later in the day our door was open and had been for hours which was very worrying as anyone could of walked in, this also happened again when we thought our door had closed and we were getting ready to go out, another guest tried to walk into our room not sure why but we did report this
We also went back to our room on a couple of occasions to no fresh towels
The corridors were never cleaned there had been cookies on the stairs by our room the whole 10 Days we were there and again crisps all up the corridor.
We also had an ants nest in our room and our Hot Tub balcony upstairs never got cleaned properly as drinks and bottles were left up there and we ended up throwing away ourselves.
We absolutely loved this hotel when we came before and was gutted about all
Of this, we did ask to move rooms which they said we could once there was availability on the Wednesday 5 days into the holiday when we went to do this that day they had given the room away and couldn’t move us for another couple more days which Annabelle the manager (who is really nice) promised us but it was pointless as we didn't have long left
Again the area itself is fantastic but unfortunately we will be looking for a new hotel
To stay at next time
This is the 2nd time I’ve had to post this

We have just returned from a 7 day stay at Zafiro Palmanova and thoroughly enjoyed it! We travelled with 2 kids aged 3 & 4 and this hotel was perfect for them and us. On arrival we were complimentary upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was amazing, so much more space the room was spotlessly clean and well kept.

All inc buffet food was of a good standard and lots to choose from (perfect for fussy children), there is a soft play within the restaurant which was great too and kept the kids entertained. We ate in the A La Carte restaurant for dinner one evening and the food was really nice too. We ate in the bistro part of the restaurant every lunch time where the food was made freshly to order - everything we had there was really tasty - burgers, salads, burritos, pizza, pasta and a great kids menu also.
All inclusive drinks menu was the best I've ever had at an all inclusive hotel - really good cocktails!

3 good pools at the hotel, kids loved the pirate ship - I have to say though I found the pools absolutely freezing, my kids would only stay in for a short time. There is a good sized playpark with climbing frame, swings and a bouncy castle which we spent a lot of time at.

Lots of kids entertainment on throughout the day the entertainment team were fantastic, mini disco every night at 8pm then a cabaret type show on at 9pm - all decent.

Perfect location just short walk to the beach and centre of Palmanova. We absolutely would return to this hotel.
