We have been to this hotel several times and if we repeat it is because the value for money is very good, but this year we have noticed some things to improve. - At 7 in the morning the staff who are doing cleaning work in the pool are shouting, the guests who are on vacation are still asleep. The scandal they cause is unacceptable. - the towels are very old, we are in a 4 star hotel, they should be renovated - lack of maintenance in the carpentry of aluminum lumini of the washbasin, is stained of the use no of dirty - We are in Catalunya, and the Catalan is not used in any activity, only speaks spanish, s should use both languages. This hotel is one of the best buffets I have tried, varied and quality, very correct staff.

From start the finish the staff were rude starting from reception, who have no idea how to enforce social distancing rules and were down right rude and abusive! This carried on throughout all staff from the cleaners to the over the top life guard who would remove your towels if you were gone for more than 5 minutes. Lovely location is the only positive. English are certainly not wanted in this hotel!

Not a great stay. It took 50 minutes to check in thanks to the queue and some guests having problems with their bookings-no acknowledgement or apologies. Guests also pushed in the queue. Hotel room was dirty (someone’s hair on the toilet seat and in the shower?!) Room amenities were ok, particularly liked the mini fridge. Hairdryer was sticky (no idea why) and couldn’t clean it off. It also has foreign hair on it. TV wouldn’t work, apparently a problem with the satellite. Bathroom was OK (minus the cleanliness), towels and toiletries were good. Balcony was lovely and had towel racks on each side. WiFi is ok, better signal in the mornings. Air conditioning worked well (thank god). I can’t comment on the restaurant or pool as I didn’t use these, however the pool was clean. It is noisy at night in the hall so ear plugs are a must (if you come from a quieter place you might need a room not facing the road). Not much distancing going on-lots of people get into the lift with you and don’t seem bothered walking near you. The only place that adheres to this rule is the reception area. Staff don’t know much about public transportation-when asked how to get to Barcelona the lady had to ask a colleague-couldn’t specify times or anything and advised I visit busplana next door to plan my visit (it’s closed under Covid) On my last day my room card stopped working-took half an hour, came down to reception 3 times to fix it. Packing the last few things was quite stressful because of this. This hotel is by no means 4 stars, possibly 3 if that. The good thing about this is the location but there are many other options in this area.

+ Excellent meal! There were always 2-3 types of fish, seafood, several types of meat, grilled meat and fush, hamburgers, etc. Good assortment of fruits. + A pool area is clean, all sunbeds are in order, of high quality, the pool does not smell with chlorine. + There is animation for children and adults in the evening. + good value for money (in October with FB meal for 2 adults+child10 years old=€1,500 for 7 nights) + Close to the hotel's entrance there is a bus stop # 2 to the Park Aventura (25min trip) + 15-20 min by walk to Train station - quality of room cleaning - there are no towels for water pool zone (you should take your own or buy); - hotel does not clean the beach; - town outside of hotel is a bit dirty.

My partner and I stayed here for a week at the start of October looking for cheap and cheerful Spanish sun; we were not disappointed! Hotel is situated in a great location right on the beach, rooms are clean and spacious with a good view (if you opt for poolside views), majority of staff were friendly and helpful, food was basic buffet-style hotel food; breakfast was quite repetitive but there was plenty of choice all-around. Good location close to Salou and Cambrills; Cambrills old town is a good hour's walk. Poolside is pleasant but can get quite busy and reserving a sunbed is a must, but we spent most of our time on the beach so this wasn't an issue for us. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a good, cheap getaway! Well worth the money you pay for it, we would be happy to return for another break!
