A unique guest house set in a medieval fortress used in the 12 century to protect against pirates. Wonderful hospitality by the owner. Excellent breakfast and dinner (optional) . Very quite and tranquil on a rural site, yet very convenient to reach medieval villages and the beaches . Wonderful grounds and public areas including a smal swimming pool

This is a beautifully restored medieval fortress located in a very nice rural location close to Pals. Pals itself is very nice with a beautiful ancient old town worth spending time exploring. The beaches close by are all very beautiful. Make sure to follow the instructions sent to you by the owner/manager to find the B&B as the GPS is... More

Ses Garites is off the beaten track and would be difficult to find without a sat nav but it's very much worth the visit. It's an old fortified farmhouse built in the 15th/16th century to protect the village from pirates coming from Northern Africa and Turkey. At least that's what the owner told us. We stayed in the terrace room... More

Oh my goodness! We nearly cried when we arrived here the hotel is so beautiful. It is a small, boutique hotel created in a renovated 17th century ( I think) house, in a gentle rural setting. The rooms are large and spacious, elegantly decorated, lovely artwork everywhere. We were a family of 5 adults visiting Spain for the first time... More

Not really a castle, but a fun old stone building that has been nicely restored. Rooms were spacious. Our friends had a ground floor room with a little patio. We had a room with windows to the south looking out over the fields. Big friendly dog. Owner/caretaker is a man of few words. There's a pool in back... but it... More

Staying here was a great and unique experience. The is so much history in the walls around you and the place is beautifully restored. The owner/manager was very pleasant and happy to help out with anything we asked. Breakfast was great also! It was very nice just wandering around the property, sitting on the chairs outside or hanging out with... More

Excellent location near Pals , very peaceful .Old house /castle typical of this area. Spacious room but furnitures and beds from Ikea (!) , very strange in a place like that ! Welcoming at best polite . Cold atmosphere due to the rather indifferent manager. Too expensive for the whole experience. Breakfast was ok but not great and the manager... More

Difficult to find? Yes!, but with help from a local delivery man, we found it hidden away to the East of the old village, up a narrow lane, which is first exit from the roundabout with a church on the road to Pals beach. The lane winds for about 2km and then on a sharp corner to the right, a... More

This is a very special place. The house is full of history (don't forget to ask Benet to tell you all about it, is fascinating), and tastely restored and decorated. Every room has its personality, and reflects a little part of the house backgrownd history. Good breakfast, with local products. The surroundings of the house (gardens and pool) are amazing,...
