Lovely hotel. Clean. Staff friendly. Bathroom behind a sliding door but otherwise very good. Continental breakfast was very good. Staff even gave us a cafe con leche when asked. Beds comfortable. All good

I stayed here two nights, good location, lots of services. The front desk staff very helpful. The breakfast had a good selection and the meals in the restaurant were very good. But in the room it was difficult to sleep, I could hear everything from the next room, complete conversations, snoring, everything. If not for that it would have been...

The hotel seems to be old. The room was big and confortable. Although, I have to indicate some disappointing details. There was only one electrical outlet. The lights close to the beds were not adequate for reading. There was a common hair dryer, hanging by a wire on the wall. Free Internet, but the guest has to register the pin...

This is our second visit, and it is great place to start your journey to Santiago. A walk in town will help you relax and meet fellow "caminantes", who will eventually be part of the experience. BUEN CAMINO!

Great location and lovely rooms. Very comfortable and clean and tidy. Nice food and friendly staff who managed to sort out our problem when they said they didn't have a double room for us. Would recommend. Had nice decor.

Good stop ober for the Camino. Rooms are a decent size, clean with good beds. Food is plentiful and good quality/value. Helpful front desk. Breakfast is a bit meagre which is why I dropped a star. Very convenient location

Modern well-appointed hotel with a decent range of facilities. Right on the Camino and (at least in February) with a remarkable good value deal. Staff professional and - whilst it is corporate rather than homely - it's a good hotel.

I started walking the Camino in Sarria and stayed here my first night. After two flights and a taxi, this was a very welcoming and comfortable hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower pressure outstanding. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with very good selection of a variety of food. Also, additional amenities such as razor, toothbrush, etc. were a...

Yews, the lobby is super, the front desk properly snooty, and the requisite restaurants populate the first floor but that's where it ends. The room is a let down, big time: dated, grimy, leaky faucets, and the AC not functioning. The accolades need to be parsed-look around Sarria, there are many alternatives.

After staying in many hostels and alburges along the camino we were lucky enough to spend two nights and take a break at the Alfonso IX ! Our room was perfect and the service was great. I felt the laundry service was very overpriced compared to other places we had used but it was nice to have clean clothing.
