Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and breakfast smelt delicious. Plenty of parking available although pay and display from 8am until 6pm. The hotel is within walking distance of town centre. Would recommend a stay.

we recently visited the Isle of Wight and stayed at Newport Travelodge, its very close to the bus stand and high street. It affordable, worth for money and staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean .

One knows exactly what to expect from a Travelodge. The price is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location convenient. No frills, but it doesn't profess to have any. If you need a place to sleep and shower, Travelodge is great value for money and comfortable into the bargain

Me and my family had a lovely time here. Room was clean and beds are really comfy. Bit noisy being on the ground floor, but didn't stop the children from sleeping. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty to go around. Dinning area kept very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only down side of this hotel is...

Yes, it is a travelodge. We all know what to expect. It was clean with a comfortable shower and bed. However, the Isle of White boasts a wonderful collection of B&Bs and the travelodge can't compare. They should offer free wifi (at least some complimentary minutes or data), basic toiletries and a better price for a cheap breakfast. The local...

We travel all over the country, and would rate this in the top 5 of places that we have stayed in. For a budget hotel you get a lot more than you pay for, the location is perfect as well. I could say loads more nice things about this hotel, biut the best thing to do is stay there for...

Very clean and tidy. Everything there that you need for a non frills bedroom. Located in Newport town centre so very handy for shopping. No carpark so you have to pay in the carpark over the road but the hotel offers a special deal on that.

All you need for a brief stay on the Isle of Wight but if you want a twin I'd recommend requesting 2 single beds rather than a family room - double/single - as the put-up single is small and not as comfortable as a main bed.

I booked this hotel principally because of the £37/night room, as I needed to be in Newport the following day. The room was spotless and the bed was wonderful. For £37 you don't get many perks, but I didn't miss any of them. I liked that the room had a kettle and tea and coffee and that the hotel has...
