Perfect location for people visiting Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and companies nearby, otherwise it's just in the middle of nowhere. Good - there is a bus going to Oxford for example, bad - it takes forever to get there. Strange personnel they have, some were helpful and some other behaving like it was their first day at work, knowing not much......

I have stayed here a few times due to visits to the Harwell Research facilities. The staff are always obliging and welcoming. The hotel is very basic but the hotel rooms are clean and big. Room facilities include: tv, blackout blinds for those wanting sleep after working night shifts, hair dryer, tea/coffee sachets and a kettle. It's best to have...

Simple but good hotel on the edge of Rutherford-Appleton Laboratory, a national science lab in the UK. I can't imagine why anyone would go here except to work at the lab, as I did. Having said that, it's a pleasant and very serviceable hotel.

I stay in this hotel quite often for work purposes and I would highly recommend it if you need a good night slight and to relax. The breakfast is perfect to set you up for the day. It's in the middle of a science and research park so until you drive or get a cab there is nothing to do...

I am amused that this hotel is listed on TripAdvisor. I can't imagine why a leisure traveller would stay here. Not because it's not a perfectly comfortable and friendly hotel, but because it's located just outside the gates to a major research facility and not near anything else. This is not a holiday spot. This is a place to come...

When I checked in on Sunday evening (Sept 28) the lady who was on the desk was so obliging and similarly other people on other nights were too. Breakfast is good too. The rooms are great too with fast internet (really fast) and walk-in showers. My only gripe is the rooms do not have a mini-fridge and there is no...

The staff were always really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice and good and hot. Dinner was a hot buffet and a good...

I've stayed here 3 times for 3 days each and can really recommend it. Large rooms, all very new and clean, everything works including wired internet (very fast) - although I haven't tried wi-fi. Breakfast is excellent - full English (generally only from about 0715) or cereal options and really nice fruit. Staff friendly and helpfull, and my boss loves...

The hotel is smart, clean and funcational. It does everything it says on the box and was very clean. The customer service was amazing and the reception staff were great. Nothing was to much trouble. The internet was fast and worked really well during my complete stay. Breakfast was included and was hot and fresh, again nothing was to much...
