We stayed here for one night to attend a party in Harrow. Lovely setting tucked out of the way. Room clean. Food great. Staff friendly. Bed comforatable. Good parking. Lots of room for childrent to run aorund on grass and woods with walks backing onto the hotel makes it ideal. Ticked all boxes for us and would go back for...

I expect the rooms in the main part of the hotel are pricier but the annex rooms are perfectly acceptable though a little impersonal; the grounds are wonderful for exercising pets, yes it's pet-friendly; nice bar and quiet location despite being so close to London. This place is steeped in film location history and I think the hotel should make...

I booked 6 rooms for me and my wedding party at this hotel asked if there was a group discount as wanting to book more rooms. The lady on reception told me no discount unless I'm having my wedding there which I wasn't. Anyway a month later I called again to enquire about upgrading my room and book more, but...

In early March this year I organised a weekend at Grim's Dyke Hotel for 40 people and in every respect it was a great success. The weekend comprised two nights' bed and breakfast and two dinners - one in Gilbert's Restaurant and the other in the beautiful Music Room where we enjoyed a wonderful performance of 'HMS Pinafore' between courses....

Went for Birthday celebrations for my husband with two friends Saturday evening. First time we had been and restaurant was not busy, usually full (you would be wise to book normally as small restaurant). LOVE the food here compliments to the chef. Relaxed and lovely atmosphere and food. We were also lucky enough to have extra's for free some starters...

We have stayed at this hotel twice. each time, the staff have been excellent nothing to much trouble. the rooms are well suited. my wife is disabled so we stayed in an adapted room which was excellent, close to London but the peace that you need for a good nights sleep., the grounds are beautiful would be a wonderful location...

Exquisite gardens. Lunch was stale bread rolls, minimal filling. Service poor, outside tables not cleaned regularly, exceptionally long waits to purchase food at the Library Bar, sole waitress under unfair pressure. Lovely surroundings, inside of the hotel feels tired and a bit shabby.

Visited the Gilbert Restaurant for a celebratory Sunday Lunch this weekend and it was lovely. Nice atmosphere and attentive service, but above all the food was superb. Also very good choice for vegetarians. Will definitely go again.

we have been visiting this hotel for over seven years in order to visit relatives. Lovely place, wish we could stay longer but we always stay on sundays and are made most welcome. The one night package which included dinner was reasonable and the food excellent. Lovely breakfast and attentive staff.

This place is all hidden and tucked away, when you get to the main entrance it's a surprise. Very big and old fashioned which is great. I didn't pay much for this and it was such a treat as I felt like I got a lot for my money. Staff were all very friendly. Rooms were clean and very nice....
