THe hotel gardens in the summer are terrific. in the sun its a lovely place to sit. just don't use their restaurant or meal facilities. the food portions were poor, the service was abrupt , the manager was unavailable. it seems they are catering for big functions but not bothered about other guests. Certainly they were not so bothered bout...

Grim's Dyke is a beautiful hotel, full of charm and character. The only thing that detracts from its overall value is that it looks a little unloved and in need of attention. The exterior of the building is superb with the location, building and gardens being as you would wish them to be. Our bedroom however looked as tired as...

We had the most perfect day on Saturday 29th August 2015 at the Grim's Dyke celebrating our wedding day! From start to finish we were so well looked after, and this began long before the actual day itself. Meetings, phone calls and emails ensured all of our wishes were considered and built into the planning, and this certainly paid off....

We celebrated our wedding at Grim's Dyke on the 3rd September 2015 and for us, it was an absolutely magical day. We live quite close to Grim's Dyke and feel quite fortunate to have such a spectacular venue on our door step. It's hard to believe that you're still in a London borough. The house in all it's grander is...

We stayed two nights to attend a seminar at Rosary Priory nearby. Our room was a garden suite - so not in the main house but in a modern building nearby. The room was excellent - big and with a massive bed, and a big spa jet bath in the bathroom - it all looked recently refurbished, (though the carpets...

We had a room in the lodge next to the stairs which made it noisy. You could hear EVERYTHING in the next room.... for breakfast I ordered beans mushrooms & blackpudding. I got a tablespoon of beans, ONE mushroom and ONE slice of blackpudding (good job I had cereal beforehand)!!! On a good note the gardens are beautiful.

This was our third stay and again we had a wonderful time. The staff was fantastic and could not do enough for us, especially during meals in the dining room. The food was great and the service first rate! A traditional English breakfast and wonderful High Tea were special treats. This our favorite place to stay when in London.

We had our wedding done at Grim's Dyke. Great location, great gardens, especially as we had very nice weather. Staff really nice, and party went according to plan. The room we had was beautiful and we did really nice pictures there. While i am overall happy with the hotel, there are a few things that can be improved.

Firstly we paid a hell lot more £££ than they advertise on internet. Room we were given was good but guess what the TV does not have signal, call the reception and the engineer comes in and checks and confirms there is a fault with TV. We move to another room - it is a garden cottage view Large room...
