We booked one night only here. Sadly you get what you pay for. It was only £40 a night and VERY basic. The room was clean but extremely run down and old . Even the bed linen seemed ancient although clean . The mattress was very old too and bumpy you could feel the springs. The wardrobe doors wouldn't open...

On this our first visit we parked up directly opposite on the council car park and took advantage of the free car parking. A Metro Link tram stop is close by too. The Flying Horse log fuelled fire, the ceiling with the branches and twinkling fairy lights was very inviting. Not to mention the selection on offer of excellent real...

We called in on Monday for lunch, the staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent and a good price. The interior is very welcoming especially with the fire being lit, I even liked the ceiling with the branches and fairy lights. There is also a good selection of real ales, we will definitely return.

We visited recently with our 2 year old daughter, staff and other customers were very accommodating towards her and made us feel very welcome, love the ciders on draft, food was lovely but I felt it was a little overpriced.

We went to the Flying Horse for a family lunch with my wife, daughter and son-in-law, and our three lively grand-daughters, we were pleased to find that parking nearby in a council car-park was free, a much appreciated benefit, and one that our home town of Stockport would do well to consider, if they want to attract shoppers in to...

What can I say other than FANTASTIC! The flying horse is situated right in Rochdale Town centre. The staff are warm, welcoming and polite (a rarity these days, believe me) Myself and my daughter booked on for the Mad Hatters Tea Party and it was fantastic, the room was decorated with Alice theme, very well thought out, in keep with...

I love this place the staff are really nice and smartly dressed the beer is fresh and tasty The only problem is what i assume to be the owner sat at the end of the bar looking miserable and tends to give people dirty looks it may not be the case but that's out she comes across

Hello there, Thank you for the lovely words in regards to our staff and beer. Little confused over the 'grumpy owner' comment, I don't sit at the end of the bar and I'm 100% a man. Perhaps its just a grumpy lady? Hope to see you soon. Ask for me and ill say hello :) Ben (very happy man owner)

Me and my mum absolutely loved our food here- so well priced and really lovely. Interesting menu, not just standard pub food. Sweet potato fries were amazing. The service was second to none and the food came very quickly. Would Recommend to anyone!
