Food was expensive, room was tired looking and the curtains only had half the clips on them so they couldn't be drawn properly. Breakfast was over cooked and sloppy. We were not aware the hotel had so many parts to it and we had to cross the road for breakfast in the main hotel. My advise book somewhere else.

Have used this hotel many times but I have to say room 211 in the main building was very disappointing right on the stair case very noisy also small sink in the bathroom very difficult to brush your teeth also unable to make tea or coffee due to the kettle not fitting in the sink

We did an overnight stop after visiting relatives. We had a twin room 'over the road'. It was very spacious and comfortable. A very nice ensuite with all toiletries included. Breakfast was included in the price and buffet style with everything to choose from. We will be using this hotel again and would certainly recommend it.

I have to be fair, the hotel itself is lovely. This was the second time that we had stayed here. The first time we stayed in a small room which was stuffy and didn't sleep well at all. This time we decided to go all in for the junior suite. Room 204. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised that the...

We stayed as a couple for two nights in this Hotel. We had a room right at the top of the stairs in the main building. The Hotel has a lot of character, no it's dilapidated. The breakfast area is so awful with broken floor tiling and window panes frosted over. We had the feeling we would stick to the...

When I arrived at the hotel for the night, it seemed pleasant enough. I had read reviews on here so was expecting the slightly manic car park where I had to abandon the car at the front of the hotel whilst I checked in, and then got shown to an overflow cr park across the road. I was also expecting...

The stairs may creek, the rooms may be quirky and some aspects of the original building may look dated, but on the whole I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the overnight stay here. The staff were extremely helpful, personable and obliging. Our room was located at the top of the main building – so not so good if...

We stayed in the other side of the hotel. The one opposite, shall we say the 'not so nice ones'. We got stuck outside in the rain because the main security door had problems with our key... even though it opened our room just fine. We had to go across the street to the main reception to get someone to...
