I read the reviews and was very concerned about staying at the Campanile in Runcorn, to say the least. Yes it is on a small industrial estate and yes the paintwork and entrance to the rooms are not the most tidy or welcoming but the area that you check into and can have a drink

If you want a basic, good value place to stay the night this is the right place. It was warm and tidy. The restaurant was pleasant with a nice selection of meals and the breakfast was nice and varied. If you want luxury you should stay somewhere else and pay double the price

My partner had a work conference so we decided to come up the night before and make a day of it in Liverpool when he had finished, however he would not be back until 3. The duty manager agreed that if we pay the extra 20 pound we would have no problem keeping the room until he

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. We had 1 dog with us but I'm sure as long as you don't have a ridiculous amount they will be fine with this. Sorry for late reply.

is this hotel ok for having any type of dog staying? Looking at 1 night stopover.
Dear Ozzie2011, Yes we do generally accept all breeds, the cost per pet is £5. We ask that all dogs are kept on a leash when on the hotel grounds. If I can be of further assistance please call 01928 581 771

If u book direct its free. If not get vouchers from reception. About £6 for 3 days. Dont go online and buy it it cost a fortune. Nearly £30 for 2 days and 2 devices. The system is good though and reliable
