Really lovely hotel, very welcoming, and the owner and staff worked very hard to make sure lots of little details were correct and to give a personal welcome to each guest, many of whom I found out are long time regulars who return year after year. Thank you to Ken, Valerie, Dimitri and all the staff beavering away in the...

Went for a drink and was disappointed with constant juke box, yes juke box! playing golden oldies so we could hardly talk. Maybe we just hit a bad night, I hope so. It could be a great place and the locals seem to enjoy it. After all, it's the only pub on the island.

Just had an evening meal at the hotel. The food was good and fresh especially the scallops which were very good, staff were pleasant and reasonably happy, surroundings were typical pub/hotel and could be better.

just a nice place, staffed by good open friendly people, overseen by an exceptional manager, Ken. Nearby, Achamore gardens is genuinely special and is partly so directly BECAUSE it is not overworked or commercialised. tearoom and/or shop would change the nature of the place for the worse..it should be left almost exactly as it is..it is close to perfect for...

Single room rate is very reasonable and it was a double room. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The staff were helpful and attentive. I was not going to take the car but I did as parking was limited at the ferry on the mainland. It meant I saw alot more of the island. I was £19.50 return...

A most welcoming hotel, comfortable & clean. The friendly owners & family staff were wonderful. I stayed in 2 different rooms after the owners took extra trouble to accommodate me for additional, unplanned nights. Both my rooms had fabulous views. A choice of dining in the bar, in the informal but well appointed lunchtime lounge or in the hotel's dining...

we had a good view from our room , the windows really needed painting and I felt it was functional but not really inviting , clean bathroom and nice breakfast. Dinner menu was interesting and we enjoyed some of the dishes especially the halibut. Would have liked more information in the room about the island .

Upon arrival andzeala and Ken met us and the three hyper dogs with open arms. Provided us with extra towels for dogs and showed us to our spacious room. Great views could be seen from room. Breakfast was great quality. Booking, paying and checkout was easy! Lovely island, very quiet and peaceful. Thanks to all the staff!

I took the opportunity of last weeks sunshine to visit Gigha. I was in the single room (Room 6) which overlooks the marina. I must say I had a most comfortable stay. The beer garden was great in the early evening until the sun went down. As you might expect in a small island hotel the menu was not vastly...
