Having stayed in the various accommodation available on Tiree I can confirm this is the best on the island, and one of the best in Argyll. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, have wifi, contain everything needed for a relaxing stay and most importantly have a comfy bed. There are several choices for breakfast, all delicious and you can make... More

I cannot praise this guest house highly enough in my opinion, friendly welcome from Alison. (Nothing seemed a trouble)Our rooms were impressive, immaculate, spacious and every small detail thought of. Comfortable beds, lovely linen, quality toiletries and roomy en-suite. Super lounge to sit in, with additional coffee/tea facilities. The breakfast was very good, a feast that set you up for the... A top quality house with beautifully appointed rooms and very professional owners who take great pride in looking after guests. Excellent breakfasts to set us up to tackle the winds and elements of the island.

This is a lovely guest house with the emphasis on quality. Great choice for breakfast and beautifully cooked and presented. We visited with our dogs and it was a joy to be made so welcome. This is the standard all guest houses in Scotland should be aiming for.

Luxurious rooms, thoughtful owners and every little thing catered for. Alison even provided the lemon for our gin and tonics which we enjoyed in the luxury of the conservatory in the evenings. The island is beautiful and we will certainly return. Cannot praise this guest house highly enough.

Just back from our 3rd visit to Rockvale and it didn't disappoint! Stayed in the twin room this time, Port Amvhullain (excuse the spelling!). The room was a good size and big enough to house 2 single beds, 2 tub chairs, an oversize baby's cot, a dog and loads of bags! Breakfast - A.MAY.ZING! Home baking in the room every... More

What a place! We’d never stayed anywhere with such a reputation. By the time we made our reservation several months ago, Rockvale had scored 120 ‘Excellent’ ratings on TripAdvisor, and 1 ‘Very good’. By now there are even more. It’s easy to understand why. Rockvale oozes quality. It’s in a beautiful part of the island, luxurious and welcoming. Our room... More

More like a luxury boutique hotel than a simple B&B. The rooms are extremely comfortable. Bathrooms modern and fitted to very high spec. Breakfasts delish. Landlady very helpful and friendly. There is a comfy lounge and loads of DVDs, books and games. And Tiree is awesome. This is the best place to stay on the island.
