My husband, our son, and his wife spent two nights at White on Wood and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed on the second floor and shared the bathroom. It was all good. The rooms were all clean and you could hear the waves on the water, from our windows. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh eggs, fruit, and French toast. The hosts are very friendly and offered us ideas of places to see and to eat at. The hiking trail to the lighthouse is close by and you just have to step outside to view the spectacular sunset or walk down to the beach.

We stayed here for two nights with our 1.5 year old. The hosts, Brad and Cheryl went out of their way to accommodate him, making a special breakfast and playing with him. We so appreciate that. The house is so sweet, the rooms are small but tastefully decorated. The view is out of this world, and the sunsets we saw were maybe some of the best I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend.

beautiful old character home with amazing location over looking the ocean. beds and bedding very comfortable. it was clean and welcoming with a great outside sitting area and deck.to use. close to best coffee/bake shop, hiking trails right off the door step, whale sightings, watch the daily cod catch being filleted right below at the old fishery dock. Hosts Brad and Cheryl were awesome and full of great stories and information that was very helpful. Breakfasts (costs $25/room extra) were great with lots of fruit and baking included with bacon and eggs. Nice living area that you had to your self most of the time. It is a short drive into town. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Brad and Cheryl!

Like nowhere else I’ve stayed. Every morning I grabbed a cup of excellent coffee and wandered up the headland (100 m) away to see what the whales were doing . Then I pottered back for one of Brad’s superb breakfasts (don’t miss the French toast!). It’s very comfortable and beautifully decorated in a quirky way. Also we got brilliant advice on where to visit or eat, or who to contact for the various things you can do around Twillingate.

We only had time for a quick stop in Twilingate. It is definitely worth a longer stay. The location of the B&B is beautiful. It is very relaxing and there is lots to do in the area. The rooms were clean and small and the breakfast was very good. Lots of great tips and friendly banter from the welcoming hosts. Only downsides were that the rooms really are very small and the cost is relatively steep.

Pros: Great location and views, Brad friendly. Middling: Breakfast nothing special; music omnipresent, but can get peace outdoors. Cons: Cramped rooms (the two we had), some bathrooms are shared; ground floor bedroom has a noisy toilet downpipe by the bed. Felt like a shared airbnb (or like couch surfing) but we paid CAD250+ per room, which was the highest anywhere in NL, including hotels.

We stayed one night, taking two rooms upstairs. Beds were comfy and the rooms and shared bathroom were clean. Pretty dining area. Brad was very friendly and made us feel at home. A menu of choices was provided for breakfast. We chose the two egg option; basic and yet our best breakfast of the trip. Had that homemade quality and the fresh fruit was very much appreciated. Take the short path beside the B&B for a great view. Parking out front.

Spectacular spot, very pleasant and helpful owner. However, it should be clear that it is a b&b and not a hotel: rooms are small, so are the beds, you share the bathroom. As such, it seems to be somewhat highly priced Delicious breakfast, good WiFi connection

Sadly, we were only here one night -- halfway between our stay in Gros Morne and on our way to St Johns area, but we would come back. The location was spectacular and I'm not just saying that . It's the real deal. The accommodations were a wonderful mix of elegant and rustic and the host, Brad, was charming, helpful, and made an awesome breakfast. When we come back we will request to stay upstairs just for a bit more privacy, but our room and bathroom were very very comfortable. Or maybe in the cottage with the deck overlooking the water which may be available in the future. In any case, couldn't recommend more highly. All in all a wonderful memorable experience.

It is an absolutely spectacular spot. Perfect oceanview from the breakfast table. That house is so lovingly and comfortably furnished. I slept with open window and I heard the waves of the ocean all night long. Dinner and breakfast were so delicious and tasty. I had an incredibly beautiful stay here. Just describe it in one word: WOW! Thanks for that great stay.
