Detailed Reviews
What a great spot to stay when visiting Twillingate.
We had the green cottage which offered a spectacular view over the water. The sunsets were beautiful. There’s a nice sized deck to sit on. We enjoyed a lobster dinner with friends on the picnic table on the deck.
The cottage is wheelchair accessible including a standing shower with a bench in the bathroom.
The cottage was clean and there were ample towels. The bedroom is a bit small but the bed is comfortable. If you plan to cook I would say pots etc are limited.
In Twillingate you can buy lobster, crab (it was in season) and have it cooked at the market located beside the theatre. It was very reasonable. They also sell frozen fish.

+1
This was my first visit to Newfoundland, and what a way to start a vacation! The cottage is right above the beach with large windows in the living room over looking the water. Great place for photography. Neat and clean. Cozy and great interior with a kitchen!

Whispering Winds was everything we hoped for and more. Situated 10 minutes from town on a small private rugged coast. Quiet, very clean, all necessary amenities for our stay of two weeks. Pat and Wayne were wonderful, couldn’t ask for better hosts. This will be our place for any future stay in Newfoundland.

The cottage we stayed in was brand new, overlooking the ocean, it was so wonderful!! Our cabin could not have been any better equipped, it was absolutely the perfect home away from home! Would go back here anytime I was in the area, and would highly recommend!

Amazing place! We stayed in the green cottage on the ocean. Gorgeous view of the ocean, cabin very clean, well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. Pat and Wayne, hosts, were very accommodating and friendly. A full-sized fridge would have been appreciated so we could keep our cod in the freezer and have ice in our drinks on the deck during cocktail hour but Pat and Wayne were kind enough to store our cod for us in their freezer.

Pat and Wayne are fantastic. Their cottages lack nothing. Our stay was incredible and we will definitly return. It is also close to Twillingate a true gem on the island. All I can say is thank you, you made our stay perfect.

The cottage over looks the water. You wake up to the site and sound of the ocean. Nothing can’t be more spectacular. It is very private as well.
The cottage is clean and spacious.. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to make a meal. Coffee and tea are available at your convenience. How wonderful and generous.
This is the best place to be in Twillingate.
I recommend this any time.

The more I travel this province, the more I realized the pure pristine and inspiring rural escapes we have to offer. This cottage is no exception. Whispering Wind Cove Cottages has the perfect cabin feel, incredible ocean views with Icebergs in the harbour and fisherman doing their morning run. This is the perfect Newfoundlande scape and I hope more get to experience it!
