We were privileged to stay here for 2 nights in June. Charming B&B in very quiet, convenient location. Friendly host and hostess Alvin and Dora went out of their way to see to our comfort and answer any questions we had. The rooms were spacious and very clean with comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom. Even in the rain the view from the breakfast room over the ocean was lovely and serene. Full breakfast delicious with wonderful homemade breads and jams. We would love to visit again! Thank you so much Dora!

I stayed here for a night while working in the area. The lady who runs it is very nice and welcoming! She is slowing down business though. There are only 2 rooms available here and it seems like maybe the family who also lives there is ready to wrap it up soon and get on to other things. I was allowed to do a load of laundry which I appreciated! And though the checkout from my room was a very early 9:30 am, I was allowed to hang around in the main area for awhile before I left. This B&B doesn't take credit or debit but you can pay with cash or email the payment. The decor is very grandma's cozy cabin with lots of little odds and ends around so if you like this, this is your spot. There's also religious decor around the house. Overall a very welcomed night in out of the rain.

We loved the Sunset B&B. Our room overlooked the water and sunset, was roomy and very comfortable, with fine bathroom. The place is spotless. The price is very affordable. The owners are nice people. It's near two good places to eat - both lobster pound type places, both with delicious and affordable food. The sad note? The place may not continue operating in future. So do try to stay here, but be sure to check first that they're open and accepting guests. We'll try to do both next time.

I found this b&b to be about the best B&B I ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, the bed was so comfy, the view was beautiful and relaxing and the breakfast was delicious! The host and hostess went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of, visiting with us answering our questions about the area and offering great recommondations. It was wonderful getting to know Dora and Alvin! We stayed for three nights and would go back again...

Dora is a gracious hostess and her house is lovely and very comfortable. The view from her breakfast room is beautiful as are her homemade jams and breads. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a nice ensuite bathroom. A lovely little gem.

I would definitely go again. The view from the sundeck is gorgeous, the rooms were comfortable and everything was very clean! Dora, the owner was extremely sweet and her husband was very funny. Another thing I loved were the homemade jams and jellies, especially the apple one! Not to mention, there was a very nice dock right in the back of their place. I highly recommend it and I already miss staying there.

Stayed here on a last-minute reservation as everything else was booked, but we were impressed. The hosts were very friendly, and have an assortment of home-made jams for you to try and buy if you wish. The breakfast was made whenever you decided to get up, and was hearty. The room was clean, and the private bathroom was also spotless. There is a patio with a beautiful view, and a picnic table on the end of a wharf where you can eat a lunch and enjoy the scenery. Will certainly be back.

I really enjoyed staying at this B&B. The owner was so accomodating, even though we arrived at 7 pm without a reservation. A wonderful breakfast complete with home made jams, and an absolutely spectacular view of the sunset will not disappoint!

This 3-room bed and breakfast is just off the main road to Twillingate, although some 10 km. from the town. It was completely full the night we stayed in September. Parking, on gravel behind the house, was fairly tight. The house faces directly on the water, so the entrance, and all the traffic, is through the kitchen. Our room was somewhat cramped. There was only one bedside table and lamp, and no place to put luggage. A large, soft couch took up much of the available space. It was well equipped with closets and cupboard space. The private bathroom was also well-equipped. Our room was next to another guest room, with little soundproofing, where the guests drank well into the night. The small lounge is cheery, a bright sunroom facing toward the ocean, which includes a large telescope to view the skies. Unfortunately, the same group of guests monopolized it entirely in the evening and we were unable even to make tea. The lounge is also used to serve breakfast, and it is really too small when the house is full. We had to wait until the same group of guests was finished for a place at the breakfast table. Breakfast was reasonably good, with the high point the self-serve fruit and home-made preserves, which the hostess also sells. I did not see any computer access for guests. Clearly the hostess takes in more guests than the house can reasonably handle. We would not stay here again. There is no nearby restaurant or other facilities.
