We stayed at Captain’s Legacy in Twillingate for three nights, July 29th - Aug1st/2022. The B&B was perfect for us. The place is clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious (Adie's jam was so good we bought a jar to take home and we grabbed John's scones were the best I've ever had). The hosts John and Adie put it over the top. Not only are they kind and willing to engage in good conversation, their recommendations were spot on - from where to eat, which trails to hike and other things to do in the area. If ever in Twillingate again, there will definitely be a return visit to Captain’s Legacy.

We spent 3 nights in Twillingate at the Captain's Legacy B & B. We booked the Captain's Quarters room and enjoyed our view out over the water. Addie is a wonderful host and gave us lots of helpful tips so that we could make the most of our time in the area. You can't go wrong with any of the breakfast options...they were all delicious. Thank you Addie and John.

Upon arrival we were greeted by two of the warmest and genuinely friendly hosts of the BNB trade. John and Addie were exceptional hosts and our room exceeded our expectations. It was very well equipped, clean and spacious. They made great recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do in Twillingate. The breakfasts were more than we were expecting and eliminated the need for lunch. They were Michelin quality and John very graciously shared his scone recipe. After being there for a two night stay we felt like we had known them forever. Only wish we had booked an extra night.

This beautifully appointed saltbox house is a wonderful place to stay! John and Addie are the most welcoming hosts, and the king bed was very comfortable. Very nice toiletries, and the softest bathrobes!!! (The only BnB we've stayed in here in NFLD that offers them.) Right on the water, the view from the porch is stunning. Delicious breakfast. We can't wait to return.

Prior reviewers used words like beautiful, perfect, superb, wonderful and it's all true. Addie and John are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Location and views are what you wish for in a B&B. Dont' think about going anywhere else.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wish it had been longer. John and Addie were amazing hosts offering top notch service and information. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well equipped for your needs. The breakfast choices are plenty, with the surprise of John’s homemade scones to start off the meal. They offer a refrigerator to keep your beer and wine or food cold. We enjoyed chatting with our hosts while sitting on the front porch at happy hour. I would definitely recommend this B & B.

We stayed at Captain's Legacy for 3 nights in May. We stayed in the Elizabethan Room. This cozy room and ensuite were well equipped. The homemade breakfasts were delicious. John and Addie are wonderful hosts and provided helpful guidance for our daily excursions. We mistakenly left an item behind when we checked out and they quickly made arrangements to send it to our home. A large iceberg was near Twillingate during our stay and we were fortunate to get close-up views from land and by Captain Dave's boat. We enjoyed wonderful meals at Georgie's (twice), Annie's Harbour and RJs and excellent soup and conversation at the Cozy Tea Room and Bakery. We highly recommend Captain's Legacy.

Fabulous B&B. John and Addie are such friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfasts are very tasty and John’s scones are especially good! We stayed in The Captain’s Quarters which was a lovely big room with beautiful views. There is lots of nice outdoor seating to enjoy the views from too.
