Newfoundland is about a lot of things but it is especially about the people. John and Addie of Captain's Legacy exemplify this to the fullest and from the first moment you will feel surrounded by caring and comfort. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was enormous and everywhere you could see attention to detail. Breakfast is scrumptious, especially the...

I would highly recommend Captain's Legacy, where my wife and I stayed for two nights. The hosts, John and Addie, were extremely gracious and the historic home is very well maintained. Our second-floor room, the Elizabethan, had a great view across the bay. Others in our party occupied the Captain's Quarters (larger) and the Regency (smaller). There is a comfortable...

Great facility, location and proprietors . Every detail has been well thought out and presented. A super B & B with tons of history attached to it. John and Addie are to be complimented on what they have accomplished is such a short time. A must stay at place if you are in the area. Twillingate is at the top...

We stayed at Captain Legacy's B&B for one night as they were booked. And I know why. They are the nicest people you would want to meet ,especially as host and hostess. The view is to live for , just beautiful .Sitting on the front porch was very relaxing . The breakfast was cooked to perfection , and the homemade...

Best B and B with terrific hosts in an idyllic setting and relaxed atmosphere. Lots to do in the area , whales sighted, wine tasting , great food at the inn and seafood in the town. Highly recommended stay and we hope to be back.... Can't say enough

Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The host and hostess, John and Addie were very knowledgeable of the history of the region. The breakfasts were delicious and served with a smile. Especially loved the scones. We also had the privilege of meeting the neighbors, Jack and Florence! Lovely folks!

I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful historic home in July. The ocean view is breathtaking and you couldn't ask for better hosts as I felt at home the moment I arrived. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and comfortable. In the morning you can enjoy homemade scones which are so good, especially my favourite coconut one. There...

My husband and I stayed in the Captain's Legacy for two nights in June and would return in a heartbeat. From the minute you pull in the drive, you know that you have arrived somewhere special, such is the care and attention given to this historic property, though of course it is the hosts John and Addy that give this...

We stayed at Captain's Legacy B&B from June 30th and left the morning of July 2nd and we had the BEST time!!! John and Addie are so welcoming. We were only there for 2 days, but from the moment we stepped through the door, it was as if we had known each other for years, sharing A LOT of laughs......

We stayed in the Captain's Legacy for two nights in June. We had the Elizabethan room which has a wonderful view of the seaside. The room is not huge but it has all the amenities you could ask for and is tastefully decorated. The ensuite bathroom is small, too, but is well-equipped with a really comfortable shower cabin. The B&B...
