First of all, this is not a B&B. It is a motel. The exterior looks like a prefab/trailer home. We were not impressed in the least when we pulled up. Additionally, the website leads you to believe it is near the water in Twilingate. It is not. It is on an industrial road between a few warehouses and a strip mall. No charm AT ALL. Based on location and motel qualities, it would be more of a 2. However, we gave it a 3 because the rooms are very newly renovated and very clean. Our beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was also a simple but satisfying continental breakfast. When we met other people who stayed other places in Twilingate, they did not have very many good things to say. Perhaps, then, this isn't a terrible place to stay. But it really is just a stopping over point. I would not plan a vacation around it.

This property now operates under the name Alphabet Fleet Inn. This property is more what one thinks of as motel than true B&B. Single story building with one long hallway with about nine rooms off it. Having said that, if you are looking for a motel, it's a good one. Was renovated this past year and is attractive and clean with pristine decor. It's located on the main street so doesn't have the same feel as a residential B&B but it's not a busy street and the motel is set back enough to feel 'private'. Property is within walking distance of the dinner theatre, the boat tour, the liqour/beer outlet. There is a grocery store a couple of doors away. Very quiet. Has a pleasant breakfast room with a decent self-serve continental breakfast offering. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Bedroom was spotless, nice window for fresh air, nice bathroom (shower only). Had we booked sooner, we would have looked for a more traditional B&B - but we had no complaints with this stay. A very pleasant experience.

Twillingate is a beautiful place. Go visit. Don't stay here. This place is operated as a motel and not what is to be considered a "Bed and Breakfast. It's nicely situated just as you come into town in a LIGHT INDUSTRIAL area. The view from the rooms is either the gravel parking lot or the business next door. It's an old motel that has been cleaned up OR more likely about 8 modular trailers put together and fashioned into a motel. Much like you would find in a work camp only this place is a bit bigger. Rules posted in the room are hilarious. Kind of like minimum security prison rules. See photos. The paper thin walls allow you to hear the people next door well enough to hear them snore!!!! Nice. Roma (the argumentative manager) likes her red wine that she was seen drinking in common areas which violates the rules. I went out to get a spoon and saw her. The parking lot flooded from the rain and I had to wade in ankle deep water to retrieve the car. See pics. The "TV" is pictured. All 14"'s of it. Garage sale item? Why have one? Bathroom is clean but so small. There isn't enough room on the vanity to put much more than a glass and toothbrush. The very insecure door doesn't have a deadbolt. No crime in the area so that's ok. Breakfast is good. Just make sure you get there before 845 because they start packing stuff away then even when guests are still obviously eating!!!! All this for $105-150 a night? There are lots of other beautifully located real BNB's in the area. Still waiting for a receipt for our stay. Be sure to get a confirmation or anything else by email. They tend to be "forgetful". Everything is billed under another joint they operate Anchor Inn. These are not the warm caring helpful and fun loving Newfoundlanders we found in all other places we stayed over 2 weeks there. Be warned.

This place is located in commercial section a little outside of town, with no view. It is more like a hotel than a B&B. The inn is very very clean and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was tiny and the breakfast was tiny. Just cereal, muffins and toast. We would have liked some protein (at least hard boiled eggs) as we were going to spend the day hiking many of the beautiful trails around twillington.

The motel was clean and comfortable. The room was sparse, but the bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was good - the homemade blueberry jam was delicious. All in all, a great spot to stay while exploring Twillingate and the surrounding area.

This is my second time we and my wife have stayed at this location. It's only a short 10-15 min walk to most places in town. It's on the main road going into town but its very quiet. It may not have a ocean view but makes up for it in how clean it is, the friendly staff, and a very roomy breakfast area. Not sure why some folks complained about the size of certain rooms as we have stayed in much smaller places in Newfoundland. All rooms are on the main floor so no steps to drag your luggage up. Also there is a grocery store just a minutes walk close by if you need any extra items or snacks for your trip. Overall another great experience and we will definitely stay again.

This ‘Inn’ is in fact a motel set in the commercial area of entering Twillingate. It was recommended to us by NL Tourism as having wheelchair accessible accommodation available. A room was booked, directly with the motel, and it was confirmed that we had an accessible room. Just prior to leaving for the trip the motel contacted us to again confirm the need for such a room. The room takes the gold award for the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The TV was a CRT and tiny, the cable box was precariously balanced on top and kept falling down. There was no bedside table so the lamp was placed on a wooden chair that could not be reached from the only double bed in the room. The bed could only be accessed from one side as there was not room to get between the foot of the bed and the wall. There was nowhere to hang clothing as the only rail in the room had no hangers! We had to request glasses. No coffee maker was supplied. There was no space for luggage. My husband, who is paraplegic had a hard time turning his wheelchair around in the minimal space along the side of the bed. On the positive side the place is clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was fine. For the owners to believe that it is adequate to provide such a room for the use of someone confined to a wheelchair shows a total lack of understanding. We also feel that the charge of $107 + tax was ridiculous considering all the facts pertaining to the room. We have contacted NL Tourism to suggest that this motel be removed from any list of accessible accommodations a.s.a.p.
